Dragon 64 Emulator and Serial Port
Does anyone know a Dragon 64 emulator for Windows 7 which supports the serial port COM1 ? I tried to communicate between a real Dragon 64 and an emulated Dragon 64 in xroar using the serial ports, but it doesn't seem to work. It works fine between the real Dragon 64 and a terminal program on the PC.

Re: Renaming the downloads !
Please note that xroar may also modify leader bytes (U) between the data blocks, not only the initial ones. I have my entire collection on disks, and I use the xroar approach to convert from VDK to CAS files. The autorun and copy protection problems were fixed at the time when I converted from tape ...

Re: List of Games Missing from Archive?
I added Sword and the Sorcerer by Blaby to the list. There is no wiki either.

Re: Renaming the downloads !
Here is one pragmatic suggestion for creating CAS files with the correct byte leaders: 1. Start up xroar 2. Press CTRL+L and select a CAS file with or without the correct byte leaders 3. CLOADM 4. To find start address: PRINT PEEK(487)*256+PEEK(488) 5. To find end address: PRINT PEEK(126)*256+PEEK(1...

Re: List of Games Missing from Archive?
I have gone through the archive and listed all the Dragon software below, sorted by publisher. After each title the archive status is shown as (WIKI,VDK,CAS,WAV). I think such a list will reduce double-work and make it easier to contribute to the archive. Maybe someone with administrator rights to w...

List of Games Missing from Archive?
Does anyone have a list of (rare) games which are missing from the archive? I have quite a large collection, and can upload CAS files if there is an interest.

The first time I did not upload the final version of the game. The current version is the one which was sold by Orange Software.

Re: North-Sea Action
Sixxie - Thanks for testing the file on a real Dragon 64. A corrected CAS file and a new README.txt have been uploaded in my initial message. It is possible to play through all 9 screens, but it requires a bit of patience to wait for the right moment to go for the oil spots at the bottom of the scre...

Matlab function for generating CAS files
Below a Matlab function which converts raw binary data to the CAS format. Remember to remove the first 9 header bytes of the DragonDos BIN file before sending the data into the bin2cas function. -Geir Hovland -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------...
