Re: XRoar 0.29 available
Has anyone got XRoar working on Windows 64-bit? I downloaded the 64-bit binaries from: http://www.6809.org.uk/dragon/xroar.shtml I have tried both 64-bit Windows 7 & 8, but same result. Just a black screen, sometimes with a few blinking pixels at the top. The stderr file is shown below (the second r...

Re: Something I have been working on.....
I have access to a 3D printer (plastics). If you could provide a 3D drawing of the cartridge (including the opening for the MMC), then I could try to print a few for you. You could also include your own logo on top of the cartridge

Re: Something I have been working on.....
Congratulations - well done!! I guess you can save and load CAS files with this cartridge? If you provide a user manual and a reasonably robust and protected cartridge, then you can sign me up for one as well. This solution could solve the CAS file generation and transfer to PC once and for all. No ...

Re: Dragon and VGA Monitor
My Dragon Tano has arrived, and the Grandtec GVC-1000 is able to handle the NTSC video, see the pictures below. The NTSC to VGA conversion is a bit blurred and worse than PAL to VGA in colour mode, but in black and white mode the conversion is very sharp and there is no noticable latency. The power ...

Re: List of Games Missing from Archive?
We could add a new Wiki category at the bottom of http://archive.worldofdragon.org/index.php?title=Games called "Various Authors" or "Miscellaneous" ? If there is new retro-software written for the Dragon, it could also be added here? Maybe this would also have the side-effect of encouraging new Dra...

Re: History of Home Computers
Does anyone know of any TV documentaries about the Dragon 32/64 or Mettoy, Dragon Data or Eurohard or the people involved? There was a documentary a few years ago by BBC (Micro Men, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2y8IkcUGV9w ). Something similar about the Dragon would be very interesting to watch.

Re: History of Home Computers
Interesting information regarding your connection to Motorola. So I guess PA Consulting of Cambridge contacted Motorola Strathclyde and asked if they knew a good programmer for the BIOS job - and that is how you got involved? I think the story about your initials is already well known. Do you still ...

Re: WTB Dragon and game carts
Thank you - I was not aware of that page with the motherboard pictures. I think I will open up the Tano anyway and have a look inside when it arrives - I am not worried about breaching the warranty
