Re: DragonDOS 5.0

Hi Steve, I have downloaded this zip. The first binary comparison with the current DOSPlus50, in the thread shown below, shows many changes. http://archive.worldofdragon.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4779&p=13534&hilit=DOSPlus#p13534 Is there any documented information about what Stephen had change...

Re: Piotr Bugaj dragon disc controller

Hi,
I was thinking of allowing the ROM to be called from $C000 till $FEFF
just needs another address line, then I could burn the DOSPlus5.0 with my extender in it, too
just occupying two slots, but still will be place for SuperDOS E8 and DDOS13A

cheers

Re: Piotr Bugaj dragon disc controller

I Tormod,
I had not seen these videos, but it was easy just two switches for 4 DOS, so it was clear what they must do.
This is a nice DOS collection

cheers

Re: Piotr Bugaj dragon disc controller

well, after inserting it in slot4 of my MPI, it has worked flawlessly, no need for any adjustements! I have named the switches position as 'Left' or 'Right' when looking at them having on their left the wide ribbon cable. These are the DOS that I have found in the 4 slots S2 ...... S1 L ........ L ....

Piotr Bugaj dragon disc controller

Hi,
does anyone, that has bought one of these controllers, know where could any info about it be found?
I mean, what does Piotr 'burn' into the four 8k slots, for instance.
Or any info about possible ways to fine tune the pots and trim?
Schematics, anything related ...

thanks in advance

Re: Copying a ROM to RAM ...

Hi Tony, I would recommend the routine proposed by Tormod. If you have a 64k, the best way is go MAP1 and have the basic and the Orchestra copied to the same adresses but now in RAM, so you can modify anything if you need to. I assume you are planning to do that in XRoar and with the help of GDB, ar...

Re: Dragon 200e character set ...

Hi Tony,
these are the cursors!
One for normal (uppercase) while the other is used to design you are working in lowercase ...
shift+Intro switches from lower-uppercase

Re: XRoar and DSK files images of discs 720K long

Hi Ciaran, I think that nobody needs urgently a patch for that. We have the VDK file as well and it works without problems. But when people wants to use these files in the CoCo-SDC, they need to convert them into DSK because, by now, there you only can use VDK with headers exactly 12 bytes long. And...

Re: XRoar and DSK files images of discs 720K long

Yes, Robert I think so ... These DSK files work with the CoCo-SDC because it seems that the firmware reads the length of the disc file and based on that information calculates the kind of disc, and so knows where the directory begins. If not done and assumed it will begin at sector number 321, it wi...
