Re: Coco 3

Hello, most of the users of this group have migrated to the Facebook Dragon group, just a few are still here :-( Maybe some are in the TRS-80 Color Computer group too. You will find at the end of this message a link to that Facebook group for maybe you'd want to give it a peek cheers and good luck! ...

Re: MAME Emulation

Hey Robert,
got it working!!
I just had to create a copy of the dragon64.zip file and rename it to dragon64h.zip
Now I can look at the code with lots of 6309 opcodes well disassembled
Thanks a lot!

Re: MAME Emulation

issuing this command from the command line, it opens the machine window and the debug one but immediately closes both windows and returns to the system Probably the file dragon64h or its definition *doesn't* exist in my computer Could you, please, upload that file here and tell me where should I put...

Re: MAME Emulation

How do you tell MAME that it should accept the 6309 opcodes?
Inside the dragon64.zip there are only three ROMs, two for Basic and one for DOS
But I see no place to state the fact that you would code for the 6309 CPU

cheers

Re: MAME Emulation

Hello Robert,
I am using the one I have been using for the std Dragon, so I have to asume it uses a 6809
Is there a different version that accepts a 6309 CPU?
I would appreciate if you could upload it here to test it!
thanks a lot

If I start with -debug, I can load the program after F5 but in the moment I press EXEC to start the program I always get this answer ?6 ERROR Of course I have not done anything to tell MAME that the program is intended for a 630...

Re: How to use GDB-Xroar to debug 6309 code

Hi Ciaran, thanks for answering that fast! I was afraid that this could be the answer. I am so comfortable using both XRoar-GDB that I would have liked it for 6309 debugging too :-( It seems that I will need to use the MAME/MESS emulator if that one is able to understand 6309 coded programs ... chee...

CLOSED - How to use GDB-Xroar to debug 6309 code

Hello, I have been trying to debug a test program written with lots of 6309 opcodes and have found a lot of trouble - GDB doesn't decode 6309 opcodes, instead it treats them as FCB data, not very useful :-( - After LDMD $01 to enter native mode ($3D $01) MD register is not updated! - After LDW $1111...
