Re: Roman Checkers doesn't work anymore!
Ah, great I shall download it and have a play. Thanks for your efforts, wasn't actually expecting anyone to "fix" it was more pointing out the anomolous behaviour!

Re: Roman Checkers doesn't work anymore!
Hi Pere, So it appears the board lost my post I wrote yesterday to you (and you've moved on a little)... I (attempted) to say I was skeptical that it was the MAP0/1 switch (for one thing, the game was made in 1981 and I'm not sure there were any 64K variants around then, or possibly even disk cartri...

Re: Roman Checkers doesn't work anymore!
Hi Pere, As expected, running both the cartridge version I download from the archive and my original copy from disk work as expected on a vanilla XRoar machine. After all, both that and the game itself are unchanged from the earlier 80's. On my D64, I was using firstly your VLOAD DWEEB (to load from...

Roman Checkers doesn't work anymore!
Here's a weird one. So I had the need to dig out the Dragon recently, some youngsters were interested in having a good so in the process I attempted to load & run Roman Checkers. The version I have was originally a CoCo cartridge (it was I think the first game we had when my family obtained their fi...

Web site move
Hi all, Just a quick post to say that due to imminent change of ISP, I've relocated the my site holding an assortment of Dragon related bits from: http://www.onastick.clara.co.uk/dragon.html to: http://www.onasticksoftware.co.uk/dragon/ If I've migrated it correctly, should all be there now. Thanks,...

Re: Dragon transformer
For those doubting Tormod's out there... IMG_20150928_202010.jpg That is this little beast in a D64: http://uk.farnell.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=15001&langId=44&urlRequestType=Base&partNumber=1765317&storeId=10151 I filed out the hole which housed the original switch and...

Re: A DOSPlus Extender for Drivewire & CoCo-SDC
Hi Pere, Just playing catch up on the forum, this looks impressive and clearly you've built on some of the bits we were discussing a few months back. Everything is a bit of a mess here at the moment (in the midst of decorating) but I will endeavour to give this a punt when I get some semblence of or...

Re: Dragon transformer
I've modded (upgraded?) all of the power supplies on my Dragon's by replacing the internal regulator board with a small switch mode PSU (which generally are in the same price bracket as the £40 you'd pay for a new transformer). Advantage is that it gives cleaner supply rails plus has a bit more juic...

Re: Dragon 32 mainboard
Hi Dave, Hi Jon, I'm developing an open-source multi-CPU In-Circuit Emulator: https://github.com/hoglet67/AtomBusMon [...] I'm new around here, but I would be interested in the Dragon 32 board if it is still available, as I'm desperate for a real 6809 system to test on. So far, all my development ha...

Re: Dragon 32 mainboard
It looks to be a fairly standard run-of-the-mill Mk II, Issue 6 board so nothing you haven't already got a scan of.

Jon
