Historically I have experienced quite bad intermittent drops in sound quality running XRoar on Windows but I have to say, for a while now sound has been spot on with no stability problems whatsoever.

A quick glance at the source reveals I did change the code to end the game prematurely when you reach the rank of Flagon Lord.
Seems a bit mean of me, so I'll probably update it along with a few other little tweaks.

Interesting. I''l need to check the src to see if I capped the score at 64 - Flagon Lord, on the later version. As Rob says, it was certainly possible to go higher on the first version.

sorchard showed me a simple method for determining whether a machine is PAL or NTSC by timing a video frame (in case that's useful) but obviously not all Dragons are PAL and not all CoCos are NTSC.
