Re: WTB Dragon and game carts

Out of curiosity, does the Tano Dragon come with any joysticks?

Also how do you run a machine intended for 110v if your mains electricity is 240v?

Re: Flagon Bird

Hey Simon.

I saw a great Facebook photo today of you and Fedor Steeman with your MC-10. :)

Re: VDG weirdness

Wow, those screen shots look very crisp!

Picture quality is the one thing I dislike about firing up my Dragon. :(

Re: Smooth scrolling

Hi kan.

Try adding the SYNC instruction just before switching your display's base address.

This should cause processing to wait until an interrupt is encountered, keeping you in sync with the vertical refresh.

Hi kan.

There's an article on p15 of Dragon User Nov 1985 that should be of help. :)

I completely agree and File2VDK fits the bill perfectly!
Thanks for creating this great tool for us. :D

Re: File2VDK anyone?

Bosco, unless Fil2VDK translates DECB binaries into Dragon DOS binaries, this won't work because the RUN command is a Dragon DOS command that will load and run only a file in Dragon DOS format. Thanks for clearing that up. :) I suspected it was the reason but wasn't 100% clear what `DECB' was? :oop...

Re: File2VDK anyone?

Hi Rolf.

Just been playing with File2VDK (from the command line). Appears to work perfectly however when I try to load a binary into XRoar (RUN"<name>.BIN") from the generated vdk I get an `?FM ERROR'.

The bin I'm testing with was output from LWASM in DECB binary format.

I'll second that. People here are incredibly generous both with their time and knowledge. :D
