Re: Tano Dragons

An NTSC machine isn't ideal, (living in a PAL territory), but I like the idea of a new 64k backup machine in case my D32 fails.

And they're only $49+shipping! :D

Re: ANNOUNCE: New CoCo/Dragon video game -- Xmas Rush

Thanks for sharing your festive game. :)

I had hoped to have my new game ready for Christmas but it'll be sometime in the New Year now.

Anyway, I couldn't get past three Snowmen, (the tree was being closely defended by one guy and no amount of manoeuvring would lure him away).

Re: USB joysticks

I've used an XBox 360 controller plugged into my PC with XRoar without any issues.

Don't remember having to do any setup before hand. Just plug and play.

Glad to see you're still tinkering Simon.

Re: Hello from Norfolk!

Welcome to the forum. It's great that your children are learning about programming on your trusty old Dragon. The 8-bit home computer era certainly had a profound affect on children in the eighties. I've known games coders who left school at 16 because they were earning more than the teachers.

Thanks for the info, Rob. :)

I didn't realise the original Dragon didn't come with controllers. But then Santa brought my Dragon.
