Re: Finally, the Dragon MSX!

Nice work Rob!

So this machine is a `Dragon' in name only? A fascinating discovery none-the-less. :D

Re: Dragon Games on a Pi Zero?

Hi Stew. A user on the RetroPie forum was able to point me in the right direction and after that it was a piece of cake! :) Also, once the Pi's part of your wireless network you can drag 'n drop games/roms onto it's MicroSD card via your PC, then reboot the Pi, select a game from the menu and you're...

Re: Dragon Games on a Pi Zero?

I'm pleased to report I now have XRoar running on the Raspberry Pi Zero via RetroPie.

All that was needed was a cheap WiFi dongle so that it could connect to the internet, in order to build XRoar.

And performance, I have to say, seems pretty good!

Not bad for a £5 computer. :D

Welcome goobler. :)

You've made a great choice but what attracted you to the humble Dragon?

Re: XRoar and sound

@sorchard Thanks for the clarification Stew. :)

I'm the same, XRoar is great and I'd be lost without it.

Re: XRoar and sound

Testing the snapshot above, sound is perfect but framerate is now very `choppy'.

I think we're experiencing a familiar issue here?

Dragon Games on a Pi Zero?

Recently I bought a Raspberry Pi Zero, partly because they only cost a fiver and partly because they're tiny enough to make into cool gizmos like this. http://www.8bcraft.com/ Although not as powerful as a Pi3, the plucky Pi Zero seems quite happy emulating 16-bit generation games like Super Mario B...

Re: XRoar and sound

Great stuff! Thanks Pere. :D I've just been very quickly testing the 64-bit version of the snapshot build under Windows 10. Results were roughly equivalent to the last release build for me. As Stew mentioned, with PAL emulation I find sound quality is pretty good. It's NTSC where I experience sound ...

Re: XRoar and sound

Hi Pere.

I'd like to try the snapshot you're using. Where can I find it?
