The Cloud-9 SuperIDE Interface
I would like to ask a few questions before I buy one of Cloud-9's SuperIDE devices: Say you had 1000 + virtual floppy disks. How easy would it be to transfer them to the CompactFlash card? Is it just a matter of creating a directory structure on the CF and copying the .dsk files across from your PC'...

Re: Schematics of Dragon Cartridges?
So maybe the youtube-video " Dragon 64 connected to a HxC 2001 Floppy Emulator " ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pB__S8HuzOA ) shows us a better solution, but where do you get a floppy controller cartridge from? Those seem to be rare. A quick search of the forums: You can buy a new controller from...

There have been a couple of updates (E5/E6) since the original E4 release for the Dragon 32.There is a rather interesting letter b...

That is correct!linville wrote:So the "properly modified" ROM isn't just a rewiring job for the chip, but also some modifications to the code itself.

Re: Schematics of Dragon Cartridges?
PS: Another idea, that would even be nicer, would be to disassemble cassette tape games, more or less automatically analyze the code, change absolute addresses, if necessary and relocate it to the D32-cartdidge address-range, so that those programs could be on cartridges too. But I still don't know...

Re: CoCo Disk Controller
Okay, so the DOS Adapter from Cloud 9 and a 16k EPROM with Disk Basic and Super DOS should do me then. Well, further on the subject of the disk controller I have a few more questions. 1) The software Archive looks like it consists mostly of tape files. Are there game compilations for disk? 2) Did t...
