Does anyone know if any of the zero bytes from $DE3E to $DE52 in the DragonDOS 1.0 ROM are unused and safe for adding small patch routines?

Does anyone know the syntax for saving machine code programs to disk under deltados?

I tried the DragonDOS syntax (SAVE "file name",start address,end address,exec address) but it returns a syntax error.

Due to insufficient address decoding, writes to the upper 32K in map type 1 on an unexpanded Dragon 32 cause both the ROM and RAM to be selected. This results in whatever would be in the ROM at that address to appear on the data bus while the RAM is selected for write, causing ROM data to be copied...
