Re: joystick problems?

This problem occurs when games use the BASIC ROM joystick routine. Unlike the CoCo's, the Dragon's joystick routine does not disable audio.

Re: The SnarkHunter Disks

The concerned source routines should be: 'LOADING': code to transfer part of the memory from an upper address to a lower one 'AUTORUN': "autorun" code, to be transferred to address $019A using the former piece of code 'EXECUTER' (???) I have converted all six of the DSKDREAM source code files to te...

Re: The SnarkHunter Disks

Wings of War is loaded with CLOADM, a CAS image may be found in the zip file I uploaded (see http://archive.worldofdragon.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=271). WHATIS.EXE states that the image contains a machine language program and nothing else, perhaps Salamander compiled the BASIC program before ...

It has been modified in the ...

The beauty of this method is that it can be used to perform a PCLEAR0 in a BASIC program. 8-) I have added Steve's method to CLIFFS, trimmed the program down a little to help save some memory, and added EXEC36055 (...

Re: It still works! But can I improve video quality?

The easiest way to track down a later model is to look out for one with a Dragon 64 style case with the guarantee seal still intact. Dragon 32's with this type of case are most likely to be fitted with an issue 5 or issue 6 board. Dragon 64's usually generate a picture of the same quality as the lat...

Re: It still works! But can I improve video quality?

This has always been the case for most of the early Dragon 32 boards. The later issue 5 and issue 6 boards usually generate the clearest picture.
