Re: 32 or 64 disk drives
I would love to have a collection of various computers and peripherals, I just don't have the space (nor the money).

Re: MESS interface / help required, please
Snarkhunter, to get the menu bar back, with the MESS system selection screen open, click on Options > Default System Options > Miscellaneous, and make sure there is a tick next to "Use New UI." Next, right-click on the computer system you are interested in, choose Properties > Miscellaneous, and aga...

Screen Width
With respect to the latest site changes, I rarely use a browser in full screen mode (and even if I did I am limited to a width of 1024 pixels on this laptop) so some of the pages are too wide for my set-up. In particular the width of the Downloads section could be reduced if the phrase "The archives...

Re: so tell me about this place
The site is undergoing an overhaul but it seems that the Administrator has been very busy of late so has not had time to implement everything. Regarding the number of posts, again this forum is quite new hence the small number of posts recorded against each name. Though even in the old forum I doubt...

I am not sure how a picture of Cuthbert will help in your argument, instead may I direct you to the last three paragraphs in this interview with the great Ken Kalish.

Re: north sea oil
I've converted the .cas to a .wav file and put it in the attached zip file, the wave file loads in XRoar so should load in a real Dragon. I have also included Dragon Convert (DC.EXE) it's the latest version (4.0) so does not need FIXCAS. Keep in mind that it is a DOS program so is limited to using f...
