Re: Dragon survey, what to ask for?

Does your board look like any of mine? If I could put up photos of the various board versions, people could "report" the board version without the need for peeling off any stickers that may cover it. Vato Mine looks more like the lower photograph though the power connector is uncovered like the upp...

Re: Dragon survey, what to ask for?

On the lower photo the "B" sticker covers the issue number, the copyright symbol that is visible is part of the text that includes the number - there is no sticker covering the number in my Dragon. I assume that in the upper photo that the serial number sticker is covering the issue number, it may b...

Re: Return of the Ring

Re. the rewritten version, to be honest the version on this site works fine, it's just that some of us (well one of us, well er.. okay me) was too hasty in "inserting" the cassette image.

Re: Dragon survey, what to ask for?

Another field to add, the power board version . If you look at your (Vato's) photo you will find the issue number in the red circled area, though in your case someone has stuck a sticker over the writing. My Dragon's power board is Issue 3 by the way. Incidentally, again with reference to the photo,...

Re: Dragon survey, what to ask for?

Regarding the double speed poke; Is it a definite yes/no answer to that question, or are there some Dragons that will accept it, but then crash after a while? As far as I know, no Dragon crashes straight away rather that after a few minutes some will crash or hang, that's certainly the case with mi...

Re: Dragon survey, what to ask for?

Another question that could be asked is "does this Dragon accept the double speed poke?" There also seem to be various box styles, at least for the Dragon 32, see http://dragondata.worldofdragon.org/News-and-pics/13-mar-02.htm (Dragon logos) and http://dragondata.worldofdragon.org/News-and-pics/11-n...

Re: Return of the Ring

I've just tried the "rewritten" version posted above, and it crashed on the screen where one is asked either to create or load a new character... Then the emulation performed a reset, so I didn't bother to try once more. Is this the first or the fixed second version of the rewrite? I've had no prob...

Re: Return of the Ring

No problems loading the planet moon, though F12 seems to hang the initial loading of the planet part of the game so I have to do it the slow way. Erk, that shouldn't happen. F12 is supposed to simply add frameskip and bypass waiting on the sound device (which is what's used to time the whole system...

admin wrote:These were actually sold by Dragon Data as official joysticks prior to the more familiar long handled ones... I know because I bought some back in 1982/3 and still have them in the original Dragon Data box.
They look like they are of better quality than the later version.

No problems loading the planet moon, though F12 seems to hang the initial loading of the planet part of the game so I have to do it the slow way. Anyway, in answer to your question RETURN2.CAS contains both the planet and forest moon part of the game - just press a key when going to the moon, "reloa...
