Steve, thanks. I'll have to test your modified versions when I get the time.

Re: The SnarkHunter Disks
I'll pitch in since my name was mentioned... I don't think I have ever played White Cliffs of Dover , but I have definitively played Wings of War and some other Salamander adventures. As far as I recall, these games didn't use a special loader. I have checked the manual for Franklin's Tomb , and th...

Re: The SnarkHunter Disks
Thanks for your answers. So did the previous owner of your Dragon Data disk drive have any association with Salamander? As you have discovered PCLEAR1 does not clear enough memory. I have even gone so far as to create a cassette image of White Cliffs of Dover, load that with the disk drive emulation...

The SnarkHunter Disks
I know SnarkHunter gave the history behind some of the programs on his disks, but that was on the old forum which is no longer available. So if Mr. Hunter, or anyone who remembers, is reading this I have a few questions about "Wings of War" and "White Cliffs of Dover" that appear on ADVEN04B.vdk. Fi...

Re: Couple of cas files.
Sounds an interesting method of capturing images, do you do this with CLOAD/CLOADM or SKIPF (or even AUDIO ON and MOTOR ON)? Plus, is it necessary to run the images through fixcas, as fixcas was created to overcome the problem of the old dc.exe stripping out leaders? Another thing, Planet Invasion c...

Re: Uploading CAS, WAV or VDK files
I don't think I created the Trekboer image, I think all the ones I uploaded contained a text file in the Zip with the text file giving loading instructions and other details about the program. My Cas files are also all dated 23/09/2000 (as that's the date when I first created an image), though of co...

Re: Uploading CAS, WAV or VDK files
As a minimum they have to have the correct number of sync bytes to allow them to load on a real dragon and ideally they are a confirmed accurate representation of the real tape (auto-run, loading screen etc...). So are the FIXCASed versions I uploaded fine, or do I have to do them all again? (A smi...
