Re: "Yes, wiki" / 10 (Snarkhunter's Dragon wiki thread)

Chapter 10 - Miscellaneous Questions & Issues, general discussion, etc. I have created a draft for "Shock Trooper" . I even managed to include a screenshot of the titles screen. But I (already) cannot remember which "license" I used in order to have it accepted and stored, and I'm wondering about t...

Re: Subcategories for Games

Okay - is there an easy key combination in Xroar that will save the current screen..... I know there is in MESS but I don't often use that... In Windows you can use Alt+Print Screen to capture the screen, though you will then need to crop the image to remove the title bar and frame. I would be surp...

Re: Subcategories for Games

I think I had already posted this link before (older forum), but I'd bet it will prove an invaluable information source for the games database. [Edit] Invaluable information about the games he contributed, definitely. But my attempt at sending a mail to him failed. I don't have any idea when this i...

Re: Total Eclipse

1st tape I have tried is a White Cover - v1.1 and is exactly the same as the v1.1 already dumped - There is no 2nd universe on either side of the tape. Maybe the 2nd universe is only in v1.3? I do not know when Universe 2 was introduced, but the problems I refer to in my first post relate to Univer...

Total Eclipse

Having decided to give Total Eclipse a proper go (only twenty-five years after I, or my dad, bought the thing!) I have discovered that the universe in my version does not match with that described in the July 1987 and March 1988 issues of Dragon User, specifically the planets with repair centres do ...

Re: Subcategories for Games

I don't think anything is lost in a Wiki - unless an administrator permanently deletes something - so it should be possible to revert to an earlier version of the page.

Re: Subcategories for Games

I just tried to log in to the "Dragon software" Wiki page, but it seems I'm only able to edit the "header" part of the document: when I go to the "Edit" tab, I have a page containing only the "All the Dragon games." text, so I would seem unable to add/edit subcategories, the actual content for thos...

Re: Renaming the downloads !

not sure if a CAS that has been "fixed" but contains the same content as the real tape should be [!] - probably will be. To be honest, as no CAS can accurately represent even the simplest Dragon tape content (no encoding of silence!), it seems perfectly reasonable to flag it like that if it's at le...

Re: The SnarkHunter Disks

... perhaps Salamander compiled the BASIC program before releasing the game? The same could also be true of Fishy Business (also included in the zip). Just load any "CLOADM" game from Salamander, then try to play it for a couple of minutes, and you'll be convinced it cannot be the case by any means...
