Re: "Yes, wiki" (Snarkhunter's Dragon wiki thread)

The screen scale cannot be 1:1 ! Otherwise, I will never be able to get a proper 256x192 display! (... it will be forced to 256x256) Therefore, I have to select "None". By screen scale being 1:1 I did not mean the settings in IrfanView, instead I meant the size of the XRoar window when you press Al...

Re: Subcategories for Games

I have updated the wiki page for " Shock Trooper " and added my screenshots. Yet I am not satisfied with the result, since the bottom line was obviously removed after uploading the files. So I guess I shall try again, generating an extra blank line from "IrfanView"... From the first image I can see...

Re: "Yes, wiki" (Snarkhunter's Dragon wiki thread)

Thanks for clarifying things, Simon. As stated in the other thread, I've now updated the page for "Shock Trooper". But I'm still having an issue with the size of screenshots, which seems to leap from picture to picture, though I suspect this might be an issue with the accuracy of the "XRoar" emulat...

Re: "Yes, wiki" (Snarkhunter's Dragon wiki thread)

Now, the only issues I still have are: 1/ Toggling on the menu bar again after switching it off (from the menu bar) Yet I have found an alternative: after activating "ScrLk" first (Fn + NumLk) and selecting the "Partial emulation/Enabled" mode for the UI, the TAB key does switch on/off an overlayed...

Since JPG is lossy I would avoid it and go for PNG.

Re: Various Dragon Games

One more game, I have still to create a new image of Underground Adventure (see above). Trivial Crosswords - Quickbeam Software - (On Side A of the tape appear "TrvCross.cas" then "TrvBlocA.cas", on Side B is "TrvBlocB.cas". "TrvBlock.cas" does not appear on the tape, it is formed by adding together...

Re: Subcategories for Games

As Shock Trooper has a white border surrounding the image, working out the correct offsets is a little difficult. Try a normal text mode image, the contrast between the green screen and the border should make it easier to find the correct settings, and these settings should be applicable to graphics...

This is something that Simon needs to clarify.

Re: Subcategories for Games

Re. the Shock Trooper screenshots, I've tried this myself and it appears that your X and Y offsets need to be slightly different to mine. What happens if you keep it at 256x192 but change the X-Offset to 37 and the Y-Offset to 48?

Re: Subcategories for Games

I've managed to generate a screenshot using Ctrl+Alt, then "Paint". And it takes a little extra work to come out with a "neat" picture, i.e. one that does not have the emulator's black border/window's title bar. Actually, I was expecting such a feature to exist already. But it looks like I'll just ...
