Re: Adventure game request

On the subject of Dungeon Software are the following adventure games (by adventure I mean either text or text with graphics, and not arcade adventures or RPGs)?

Underbeings of Croth - Loading Problems

I am having a problem loading this site's .cas copy of "Underbeings of Croth" into XRoar. It loads in XRoar-0.12pre2-windows32 (which is the last version of XRoar to speed load) but not in later versions, thus I suspect that there is not enough silent space between the various programs and files on ...

Re: Dragon games on PC

No, these games will not work on a PC, at least not directly. First you will need a Dragon emulator such as XRoar (available from http://www.6809.org.uk/dragon/xroar.shtml though also check http://www.6809.org.uk/tmp/xroar/ to see if there is a more recent version for your system, if you are using W...

Re: SPAMMERS

Again there seem to be new members with suspicious website addresses, see memberlist.php?mode=&sk=c&sd=d#memberlist and keep clicking down the pages. I doubt that many of the new members without addresses who have yet to post are genuine either.

Re: Emulator.

Further ROMs can be found at http://archive.worldofdragon.org/archive/index.php?dir=Roms/ For a Dragon 64 you will need both "Dragon Data Ltd - Dragon 64 - IC17.zip" and "Dragon Data Ltd - Dragon 64 - IC18.zip". To access disk images you will also need a DOS ROM such as "Dragon Data Ltd - Dragon DOS...

You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts

Today I received the following message when logging in: You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to enter the confirm code from the image you see below. This is the second time this has happened, does anyone know why? Am I...

Re: What Hardware?

With apologies to Davy, I'm impoverished compared with the rest of you - one Dragon 32, some joysticks, and a Boots cassette recorder.

Re: SPAMMERS

Looking at the website addresses (I'm reluctant to check them out) of some of the most recent members, see memberlist.php?mode=&sk=c&sd=d#memberlist , I am highly suspicious of "Bondddd" and "iggblog" - am I the only one to have some doubts? :D

Re: What joystick..?

If it runs the two test programs without crashing, you have nothing to worry about. That is the poke which is often used to speed up BASIC programs. I wouldn't speak too soon, when my Dragon is cold it will run BASIC double speed but after it warms up (perhaps after quarter of an hour) it will cras...
