Re: Graphic adventures
You may also want to try Microdeal's "Syzygy", which is a very nice game, but unfortunately, there's a small bit of "arcade action" near the end that seems too random for my own liking! I've had a look at Syzygy and although the graphics are rather impressive, especially the smoothness and speed, t...

Re: Trekboer by Microdeal
Then we would need someone to issue an Amiga port of this game, since an Amiga is the only personal computer that I know of, that had a video hardware with an actual ability to simultaneously display "screens" with different resolutions / modes (there used to be famous demos doing so, back in the l...

Re: Graphic adventures
Since you've had fun with Trekboer the obvious recommendation would be the graphical versions of all the other Mark Data Products adventures. If you have a Dragon 64 you can play all of the Mysterious Adventures with graphics enabled, otherwise they are text only. There's an ever expanding list of D...

Re: Prince of Persia
I see someone has managed to port Prince of Persia to the C64 by creating a cartridge [1] of the game (http://popc64.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/prince-of-persia-for-commodore-64128.html), could such a scheme work on the Dragon? [1] For the pedantic it's actually a cartridge image for use on a flashable ...

Re: PiMania by Automata UK
As promised here is my version of Pimania which I have tested with a couple of versions of XRoar and a real Dragon 32. I haven't followed the Tosec labelling system as I am not sure how the system deals with different versions of the same game. Someone who knows can change the name of the zip file w...

Re: PiMania by Automata UK
This is the second version (at least) of Pimania released for the Dragon. This version asks if your Dragon can cope with the double-speed poke, the earlier version uses the poke without asking. Guess which version I have, and whether-or-not my Dragon can handle double-speed? Oh the joys of listing a...

Re: Warlord by Lothlorien
... I've been transcribing instructions and adding to the pile ... I'm quite happy with the ones for "Laser Zone"... How could these be fit into the Wiki structure? Probably doesn't make sense for long instruction manuals to share the main page for a program (e.g., Electronic Author). Couldn't you ...

Re: Grabber by Microdeal
P.S. Sixxie, I think it would be interesting to record the relay sound and emulate it on Xroar (other emulators are welcome to do so too), when the "-no-tape-fast" flag is enabled. It adds an extra touch of the real thing to it 8-) I second this request, as I also miss the relay click when using an...

Re: Pettigrews Diary
Before I forget, I linked the MOCAGH's Pettigrews Diary page because they have both sides of the manual. Mine came without the text on the back, so I could only scan half the manual :P We do have a copy of the manual in the downloads section, see http://archive.worldofdragon.org/archive/index.php?d...

Re: Dragon Convert for Windows
I wish I could help, but I have no desire to install .Net because I want to keep the installation on this computer as lean as practical.Sarah wrote:I'd be grateful for feedback on DCWIN please, if anyone's given it a trial (especially if someone's had success with it)!
