Re: Screenshots editing
In IrfanView, press C to open the capture window. Select option 4 - Capture window client area. No manual editing required, only resizing if you feel like it. Can't be simpler. I never knew you could do that in IrfanView. I always used the Alt+PrintScreen, switch to IrfanView, Ctr+V, Shift+C to cro...

Re: XRoar: Joystick emulation?
Moreover, how does one get a screenshot from XRoar? I'm not sure how I managed this when I did some work for the Wiki, some time back. I might have been using a free PC screen dump program (such as "PrintScreen", from Gadwin Systems), but I'm afraid I just cannot remember any longer! ... I'm now th...

Re: How to run the Dragon at double speed
Steve, you should add that you need to let the Dragon warm up first, say half-an-hour. My anything but bullet-proof Dragon passes the POKE65495,0:POKE65497,0:SOUND1,255:POKE65496,0:POKE65494,0 test when cold ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)

Re: Hungry Horace (Melbourne House version)
I've tried this site's wave of Horace Goes Skiing on my Dragon 32 and found no problems. Craig, I note that you used an LCD screen, I used a CRT TV, could that be the difference? Steve, my Dragon does have an Issue 2 motherboard so if it is a motherboard problem rather than a display screen technolo...

What happened to Fatboy's account and why are Fatboy's postings now attributed to Simon? (If you are confused, the first and third posts were by Fatboy, and the fourth post was by Simon.)

Re: Back from the dead
On that note - I may have a massive session of updating soon and put all the stuff in "uploads" into the downloads area.... sometime in next 2 weeks.... In that case please ignore my uploads in this post as I currently have some doubts that all of them will work on a real Dragon. Also, check my pos...

However, this snapshot includes... Sixxie, it would have been helpful if you had labelled the revised snapshots as xroar-snap-20120507-b-[machine platform and extension], or similar, to help differentiate them from the versions you posted earlier today. It was only by looking at the time stamp that...

Re: Cannot get Xroar to work on my mac - gutted
With Macs the ROMs go in either '~/Library/XRoar/Roms/' or '~/.xroar/roms/' and it could be that the case is important.

Re: Prince of Persia
Dragon Answers in the March 1988 issue of Dragon User has some information about creating a cartridge based RAM extension. So is it possible to to create a cartridge that contains both RAM and a stored program (or programs), and where the program can make use of the additional RAM?
