Re: Retrospectiva Competition
From what I can gather, it would be fine to enter Dragon stuff (and I think at least somebody should) but it'd probably be worth dropping the organisers a quick message and double-check that they'd be fine with entries for the little Welsh beastie. The rules state "Original games for any 8-bit plat...

Re: Difficulty with UPLOADING SECTION - please confirm
DC.exe and CAS.exe are both command line programs where you have to type in the name of the file you wish to convert as well as any optional switches, e.g., from the command line in the directory where both dc.exe and program.wav reside you could type DC PROGRAM.WAV to convert program.wav into a .CA...

Re: Dumb question: Print color
There was a program in one of the issues of Dragon User that inverted the text colours giving light green text on a dark green background (or light orange text on a dark orange background, if you wanted). According to Simon's database you want either the July 1986 (with corrections in the September ...

By applying xroar-0.23pre3-tapemangle to this site's wave file I have created a working cas file. Then, to round things off, I created a working wave file from that cas file by using xroar-snap-20120707. Both files can be found in the attached zip.

I think that this may be a Windows problem with Windows applying automatic gain to the microphone input [1]. Cloete, I do not know what version of Windows that you are using so I will describe the procedure for XP, you may need to adjust this procedure should you be using something other than XP. 1....

Re: Image needed of a DATA RECORDER
Re. Audacity, I see that version 2.0 has finally been released. I have yet to install it, let-alone test it with playing files to a Dragon, but I see no reason why it should not be used instead of v1.2.6.

Re: Dungeons of Daggorath by DynaMicro
EDIT: Archive updated 2:20 pm . I figured out a way to put the modifications for the Dragon conversion inside the original 8K size game code. Steve, given that you have modified the game should you retain the [!] dump flag in the download name? Looking at the TOSEC naming convention for Dump Info F...
Re: "Pixie!"
Earlier today, I did generate a user's guide in "Word" format, but I found out such a file may not be uploaded here. So it is available to anyone who has the ability to put it up for download from the archive. Please let me know whom I should mail it to (the file's size is only 114 KB). Is it possi...
