I have some wave files for "Death Mines of Sirus" which come to 112 MiB, zipped they come to 76 MiB, so it is a bit of a reduction.

Re: State of the art of Dragon software preservation

By the way, Alastair, I've seen that you wrote several walkthroughs for the Classic Adventure Solution Archive (CASA). I think it would be a nice addition to the wiki pages. Which would be the best? To store your walkthrough in the wiki, or link directly to the CASA pages? I think linking to the CA...

Re: State of the art of Dragon software preservation

In theory, anyone with a gmail account can edit the spreadsheet. If you cannot, then I'll update it in the following days. I don't have a Gmail account. Besides, I think it better to discuss corrections such as this in the open rather than altering the spreadsheet myself because this way everyone c...

Re: State of the art of Dragon software preservation

Rob, having looked at the current spreadsheet I noticed the following issues: 1. As far as I know Oasis Software's Invader Cube and 3D OXO are the same program. Re: Dragon 32 Dragon 64 and LOTS of stuff

Steve, I'm interested in the Dragon 64 and since you replied to Gareth whilst I was composing this message I needn't trouble you about the part asking for disk drives or your location! However I will say that although compiling a list of the cassettes, disks, cartridges, peripherals, and books may i...

Re: Hi! & sick dragon advice

Grobda, in addition to Tormod's modified RAM test, what happens when you type in, LIST, then run the following program (keep pressing any key until the program ends) on your faulty Dragon? If any of this fails, where does it fail? 10 FOR X=0 TO 4 20 PMODE X 30 FOR Y=0 TO 1 40 SCREEN 1,Y 50 IF INKEY$...

Dragon 32 Sound Extension Module

Rob, alongside the top and bottom views of the casing would you also upload a side view of the casing showing the 8-bit ports and jack socket? This must be one of the rarer cartridges made for the Dragon (at any rate I cannot recall reading about it before I saw the eBay listing: and no, I did not b...

Yes, it's a pity. It seems that we will have to wait for a fix in ncurses.
