Re: Delta disk conversion to .vdk help

I have opened the 104kb file with notepad and found that there is some personal data from the previous owner, which prevents me from uploading the file unfortunately, ... Could you not write over the personal data with some Xs and then upload the file? I am not sure of the best program to use when ...

Re: And all because ????

That won't work because it needs load fast with headers enabled - doing this and then skipf:cloadm doesn't even work. What won't work, a modified .cas file or editing the BASIC program before you run it? If you are suggesting the latter then I can tell you that I did get the m/c segment to load aft...

Re: And all because ????

The following two lines cause the problem: 18000 POKE65494,0:MOTORON 18010 FORJ=1500:NEXT:CLOADM With real hardware the FOR/NEXT loop will be over before the tape reaches the machine code segment, but this is not the case with XRoar and this site's current copy of And All Because... . Either a new v...

Re: Non Dragon ROM 1-1

As you can see below, the ROMs in my Dragon 32 do not have Dragon stamped on them but have the same markings as the highlighted chip, so the highlighted chip is likely to be normal. D32_ROMs.jpg Why some chips are stamped Dragon and others are not I cannot say, but I guess that when assembling the c...

Re: Delta disk conversion to .vdk help

Would DD be of any use?

The DOS version, dd.exe, must be run from true DOS and uses the following command structure to create an image file:

dd [drive letter] [file name]

where [drive letter] should be either a: or b: for copying a floppy and [file name] obeys the normal DOS naming restrictions

Re: high quality Dragon 32 schematics?

nb. I installed Claris Works 1.0b on XP but it complains about memory on start up. I guess it needs a DOS style memory manager. Surprisingly you can get Windows versions of Claris Works, or ClarisWorks, from the Macintosh Garden . The blurb for ClarisWorks for Win v1.0 states: Minimum requirements:...

Re: high quality Dragon 32 schematics?

I just found a copy of the original disks. It was Claris Works for windows version v1.0b and came free with a PC Plus magazine in 1995. It fit on 2 x 3.5" disks :-) I'll attempt to install it when I get a moment. I have been messing about with Basilisk II (a 68k Mac emulator) and eventually found a...

I've been checking the list of latest members (continues on for several pages), those with dodgy websites are definitely spammers.

Plus alieen is another with spam links in the signature.

Re: SPAM Bots...

This explains Muhsan12 (original by jedie) and aaagul45 (original by TMitH).

So basically it's everyone with a user name that ends with a numeral - except pser1, retrofreak90, and vdc300?
