Re: Help!! Dragon problems

How do you tune a TV with electronic tuning to the Dragons signal? Just the same as for TV channel? It should be the same as for tuning into an analogue TV signal or VCR, so any problems are likely down to something else. One more question is the Dragon internally fused? If you have a UK mains plug...

Re: smoking dragon

Welcome to the forum. I would first open your Dragon up to see if there are any noticeable burn marks, if there are any this will help in locating the problem area. (There are ways, apparently, of removing the stickers that cover the screws without damage but I cannot recall what they are. So if you...

Re: New french member

Also the game "Graal Quest" on which we spent so much nights totally addicted... But I've read that u have it already. A project of mine was to try and translate this game into English, since most members here cannot read French. We can read French, understanding it on the other hand may be another...

Re: Devil's Island by Apex Trading Ltd

Thanks for the heads up Rob, once I have played around with the game and grabbed some screenshots I will add this game to CASA. In the meantime I have added Pharoah's Curse to the Apex Trading Ltd page though not yet an entry for the game. (This game can be found on SnarkHunter disc ADVEN05B.vdk, th...

I suspect the Spanish one was made by Eurohard after they had acquired Dragon Data Ltd. (See the wiki and the last few paragraphs of this forum post.)

Re: PCN micropadia: Taking charge of your DRAGON

World of Spectrum has scans of quite a few issues of Personal Computer News including part 3 of the Dragon micropaedia, unfortunately part 1 is missing although the rest of the magazine (issue 27) is available. FTP is currently down at WoS so here is a mirror of the relevant page for the supplement .

Re: Cassette List

Rob,
some of the programs marked in red might already be in the Uploads section, for example the Larkspur Waldorf games are definitely available as are the tape and inlay scans.

Re: Chess on the Dragon

The thing is I'm not really a fan of emulators. Unless it's on the real machine, I don't think it can be considered a true result, I'm a bit of a purist like that. However comparing real hardware results with those of an emulator could be a good test of the accuracy of the emulator. For the record ...

Re: About some games : The Time Machine, Syzygy, Zotl

1) I dont see tmachine in archive here ( The Time Machine ), it was a very good graphic adventure game, I have it somewhere in my disks. Is this one of the Mysterious Adventures as published by Channel 8 Software? The wiki entries for both the Mysterious Adventures and Channel 8 Software contain li...

Re: 5.25 floppy question

John, does a "Not Ready" error mean that the Dragon thinks that there is no disc in the drive? If so then it may be that a slight knock has partially dislodged a cable so the drive ready signal isn't getting through, or perhaps the means by which the drive detects the presence of a disc (I'm guessin...
