I don't know for sure because I have never opened the transformer case, but according to a letter in Dragon User magazine there is a fuse within the transformer housing.

As I mentioned elsewhere it is possible that a fuse has blown within the transformer, if so then replacing the fuse should be easy.

Have you tried using the Dragon's composite output?
