Pere,
have you tested both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of XRoar? I'm using 32-bit Windows so I cannot try 64-bit XRoar, however none of the 32-bit XRoar versions that I have tried has failed to produce sound so it may be a problem specific to 64-bit XRoar.

Are you kidding me? I assumed it was pretty common knowledge. Anyway, for possible future reference Windows file names cannot contain any of the following:sixxie wrote:I never knew that.

Re: Q*Bert (Dragon User Jan 1985)
phpBB didn't like the asterisk originally in this filename Ciaran, you should upload a zip where the file names within do not contain asterisks because Windows (and a few other operating systems) cannot cope with file names containing asterisks. That said, the Windows version of 7-Zip will convert ...

Re: New Game for the Dragon: TIBURON (SHARK)
As sound is IRQ driven, we all should be aware that on Dragon 64, unfortunately, the number of HS is 50 less than expected and this creates a noticeable distortion on the sound ... unless you do the small surgery I did in mine. Time permitting, is there any chance of you creating a wiki page descri...

Commodore, take your time checking your work against the diagrams, not only to make sure that your work matches the diagrams but also to make sure that there are no shorts or anything else of that nature. In particular pay attention to which pins of the plug, socket, and IC you have connected (remem...

Re: xroar keyboard mapping for windows 7
For those using Windows you have to append ">> filename" to the command to get a file containing any output messages, e.g., xroar -debug-ui -1 >> stdout.txt Ciaran, Windows using a UK keyboard layout also converts AltGr to Ctrl. Below is the debug information I obtain by using the above command line...

Re: DragonMMC Announcement.
[H]ow do you change disk or tape images when a program is running and you cannot get back to the prompt to mount/unmount disk or tape images? You can't do that (yet), if the program is written in BASIC, you can of course amend it to use MMOUNT / MDISK as needed. Could this be a feature that can be ...

Re: DragonMMC Announcement.
Phill, I've read the manual (v1.0) and I have a couple of questions. The first is how do you change disk or tape images when a program is running and you cannot get back to the prompt to mount/unmount disk or tape images? The second is in regard to the SD$ and WD$ variables, what happens if you try ...

Re: Atari Joystick Adapter Build. Baby Step by Baby Step.
For those who wish to help you can find the original instructions and schematics at Vrai's Retro Stuff . Commodore, since I have not built the boards the best advice I can give at present is that before soldering or cutting anything you should first lay out the components on the board and move them ...
