Never done it myself, but I reckon there are more things to tweak before you RUN...

Sounds like one of the DragonDOS bugs... I'd recommend either a bug patched DragonDOS version, or at least SuperDOS E6 / DOSplus 4.9.

I found a Portuguese translation (hack) which i have put on a CAS file for you. ;) If you /anyone knows how to save the BASIC as a TXT/ASC file, i will edit and translate it back to English using the Spectrum Tape (TZX). Dragon 64 PAL VHDL
The Dragon 64 VDG "glue logic" transcribed into VHDL. Xilinx ISE reckons it's ok? And GHDL builds it... It would replace 9 chips if it worked...
