Re: DIY-Project for USB/SD/Floppy connection

Is there a DIY-Project (maybe on Github...?) for a Device to load programs/games from USB, SD or a Gotek Drive ? Yes, I´ve seen that there are several Devices like CoCoSDC or DragonMMC, but they seem to be closed source and I could buy them here or there, but I would like to build something on my o...

Re: Dragon 32 with DRAM removed, video output?

Yeah, I replaced all the fuses with 3 amp. Caution from the PSU board designer...... 3A is probably ok on the 5V and 12V lines (the 12V is just passed through anyway), and the 5V reg is rated at 3A, though it will get hot, if you draw 3A from it! However the -5V/-12V circuit is only good for 750mA,...

Re: Fried DragonMMC, please help!

Hi, You should be able to test the vreg if you power the board up, one of the end legs should be 5V, the other 3.3V (centre is GND). If there are no LEDS lit, then chances are the AVR is not getting power, as part of it's powerup routine is to check for the card, and mount it, which should blink the...

Re: DragonMMC Out of Memory with CoCoVGA

I've seen this with DragonMMC when the edge connector is dirty / not making proper contact with the socket in the Dragon.

Try giving both a clean and see if things improve.

Cheers.

Re: D64 with new Dragon PSU issue

Hi all, As the 'designer**' of the new PSU board I'm perplexed too. My first instinct with the D64, would be to temporaly remove the Plus board and test as a stock 64. Though I don't see any reason why it should not work with a Plus equipped D64. Not sure on the DragonDrive problems, do said VDKs wo...

Re: Atom RGB port?

Hi all, If it's the one that plugs into the 6847 socket, I did design an adaptation of Hogelt's board for the Dragon (and the Atom, but Atom version is more problematic). The later version also integrated the Dragon 200-E character generator that JohnW reverse engineered. It worked reasonably well, ...

Re: Games for 6309 equipped Dragons

IndividualGamesFor6809-6309.zip Pere you don't happen to have these as individual files in one of the following formats do you : Mainly looking for the 6809 Color car action ones..... 1) As a Dragondos type file (e.g. one with a dragondos header, such as can be used by DragonMMC) but not on a VDK. ...

Re: Comparison of Dragon mass storage options

I've uploaded the source for the DragonMMC firmware to my github repository here : https://github.com/prime6809/DragonMMC Phill, when reading the 'Dragon MMC FW Update Instructions v1.1.txt' the only file that I can locate on git is the DGNMMC.BIN for AVR firmware update; but for the other steps; w...
