Perhaps I'm just being dumb.....
But why is it so big, I mean the graphics are not that complicated and neiter is the music, or is it sampled and that's what takes up the space ?
Cheers.

Xroar howto....
Hi all. Does anyone know to enable dragondos *AND* specify a tape file to load, if I use Xroar on it's own I get dragon32/dragondos combo which I believe is the default. if I specify xroar -load file.cas it starts up without dos enabled. There is a -nodos option to disable dos, but doesn't seem to b...

Re: Modern storage option...
I guess "loading and saving from disk files" comes under "DOS emulation" right? Is there any program that needs several disks inserted at the same time. The DOS controllers can manage up to 4 drives , but I'm not sure if that is really necessary. One of the things I would like to do is modify one o...

Re: Modern storage option...
Would it be possible for it to create memory dumps so that you can save, and load, snapshots of whatever you are working on (or playing) at any time? I have thought about doing this, and on the face of it, it seems a simple thing to do, however it's complicated by a few things. To work such a syste...

Modern storage option...
If a modern storage option for the Dragon where being developed say SD/MMC based, what would people want it to support ? Ideas so far : Loading / saving of .cas files from the card ? Loading / saving of Cartrige files from the card ? Native loading / saving / file access ? Dos emulation ? Any others...

Re: Overheating Dragon 64
Hi Phill, I use my d64 quite a lot and I haven't experienced such symptoms. Just to be sure, does it have to be 15 min in a color mode like pmode 3? Nope just sitting at the signon screen, not actually tried in a graphics mode, though I could do so I guess. I'll turn i on later and try and take som...

Overheating Dragon 64
Hi all, Has anyone else had a problem with the Dragon 64 overheating after about 15 minutes ? Symptoms are that the video becomes corroupt and starts to lose sync. However the machine itself still runs fine in that any running program continues to run. I have tried changing the SAM and CPU with know...

Frontpage messed up.
Dunno if this is just affecting me, but the front page is all messed up in FF4 and IE9 under Vista Home Premium. The menu box normally on the left of the page is at the bottom under the main content, and the game cover thumbnail appears on top of the main page. I'll try again on FF3.x/IE8 when I'm b...

Re: Question on Delta Dos cartridge
Hello everyone! I dumped the Delta DOS rom and it's identical to the one we have here in the Dragon Archive. Sadly, my friend is in the same situation, he has the list of commands but don't have the user manual. I managed to discover that the drives are named A to D. To select the second drive you ...

6809 CPU in Dragons.
Hi all
I have a question for those of you that have had the tops off your machines......
Was the 6809E socketed, it is for all the machines that I have ever seen, is it safe to assume that this is almost universally true ?
For those of you with CoCos are they socketed too ?
Cheers.
