Hi all,
I want to try and merge the patches into the DragonDos source, but am unsure which to use....
What are the differences between the 3 versions, apart from the fact that DOS13dir is longer by a few bytes and therefore spills over into the $E000-$EFFF area.
Cheers.

DragonMMC
Hi all, I recently took delivery of the prototype boards for the DragonMMC Mk2.0, one of these has been built and tested and works correctly with the current firmware. Currently this firmware supports : Loading a CAS** file from the SD card as if loading from tape, though obviously it loads much qui...

/HALT and buss access.
Hi All, Does anyone know if it is possible for an external piece of hardware to use the processor bus whilst the /HALT signal is asserted? Basically what I want to try and do is this : My hardware (DragonMMC) currently has an onboard AVR microcontroller, a CPLD some ROM and some RAM. What I want to ...

Re: Dragon 32 Repair
With all the 4116's back out of the sockets, the 5v,12v and 0v are still there but the -5v at both the IC Sockets and the power connector has dropped back to -2.1v again. I suppose it rules out the power board being faulty, but where does that leave me? The other place that the -5V goes on a Dragon...

Re: Dragon 32 Repair
I've gone through some of the tests outlined in the post above and I've drawn a blank with those also. I have noticed however that Pin 20 on the MC6847P is broken off right at the body of the chip and theres no way it can make contact with the socket. Is it supposed to be broken off or lifted? Pin ...

Re: Dragons Awake
Guess it could be the PIA I believe it's normally the left hand 6821, another possibility might be the 74LS244 that drives the printer port if that had failed and was pulling lines high or low when it shouldn't. Might also be worth checking for shorts between the keyboard lines both on the board and...

Re: Dragons Awake
I'm not sure what the issue is with you getting the wrong character when a key is pressed, may be dirt related but I'm guessing it's not Doesn't make much sense, but you could kinda imagine it if the keyboard connector was plugged in shifted by a position or two? The other thing that would do it is...

screws.....
Hi all,
Anyone know a source for the screws (or a suitable replacement) that are used to hold the Dragon motherboard & power board into the case. I have a couple of machines that have no screws, would be good to get them fixed down....

Re: VDG weirdness
I'm with Bosco, one of my pet niggles about the Dragon is the video quality, especially on my early machine. I'd been looking at some of the projects that have been coming out of the Coco world - Ed's FGPA-emulating-a-6847 project is interesting, as is the 'Altera DE1 in the cartridge slot' idea (w...
