Re: WTB Dragon and game carts

$150 for a brand new Dragon is a bargain. I paid closed to $700 back in the 1980s :-) (Yes, I also have a brand new Tano Dragon and don't regret ordering it :-))

Re: HDB-DOS for Dragon 32 and 64/Tano

I think that Rolf's Dragon Tools should be able to handle the conversion between DragonDOS VDK format to RSDOS DSK. Basic files will need further processing to re-tokenize. There were a couple of tools to take care of that, perhaps they could be integrated into DragonTools to make the process eaise...

Re: XRoar 0.29, Can't get it to work - Help !

I have been running xroar under various versions of Windows. I've always put the ROM files in the same directory as the rest of the xroar distribution. Works like a charm for me. Here's the list of files in my xroar directory. ChangeLog COPYING.GPL COPYING.LGPL-2.1 d32.ROM d64_1.ROM d64_2.ROM ddos10...

Re: User/Community Projects

Feel free to start the effort. I have provided the entry point, and now it's up to the community to add the content. (I'll add my stuff when I have some spare time.)

Re: User/Community Projects

I have created an entry for DIY projects under the hardware section in the wiki navigation bar. Maybe we should have an entirely separate section for DIY projects, but at least this is a start. Feel free to propose improvements and post information about your projects.

Re: New Dragon 32 Owner

The Dragon PSU is basically a transformer providing 1 x 8,5 VAC and 2 x 14 VAC output. This is a fairly common transformer and easy to come by. I buy my parts from ELFA . The parts from the ELFA catalogue are: Toroid transformer 55 VA, 8,5 VAC + 2 x 14,4 VAC (part no 56-109-10) 9 way female D-Sub co...

Re: New Dragon 32 Owner

Yep, I had to "improvise" a power supply a while back when my real PSU was lost (now recovered!). I ended up building a PSU from scratch rather than using a standard PC PSU. I can dig up the part list and create some schematics if there is an interest. The Dragon PSU is quite simple.

Re: User/Community Projects

I should be able to do the proposed changes to the front page. I strongly support encouraging future development projects for the Dragon, be it hardware, software or writing. I'll let this discussion continue for a day or two and then make changes based on the proposals I see here.
