I believe it would just take loading it once to make sure, or LIST-ing it to see if any Copyright information will be displayed.

This one is most likely to be "Lunar Rover Patrol" (Dragon Data).

Re: List of Games Missing from Archive?

I have gone through the archive and listed all the Dragon software below, sorted by publisher. .../... Unknown publisher -------------------------- Snarkhunter (VDK) ... How kind of you, really! But I'm afraid I just cannot be considered a 'publisher' of any kind. Unless you do intend to include an...

Re: A musical treat!

Given the system specs this runs under, it is just great! Thanks very much for sharing. The music sounds really nice, too... I wasn't expecting any such thing from the old Dragon hardware.

Congratulations!

Re: "Graal Quest" (... a reverse request!)

This is great news, then. I will only have to "dump" all Basic programs from my ".vdk" files to such text files first, then go on with the FR > GB translation process. I assume memory must be quite tight with this game, so I will have to pay much attention to the length of translated text, though an...

Re: "Graal Quest" (... a reverse request!)

That's a great trick - thank you! Just tried it on one Basic program from the 1st disk (the game seems to be packaged as 2 double-sided disks) and it worked. Yet... how does one revert back from a translated text file to a ".vdk"?! I checked the instruction manual and I understood the following: aft...

Re: "Graal Quest" (... a reverse request!)

The easiest way to dump ASCII BASIC to file, is to run with "-lp-file filename" and type "LLIST" after loading. Easiest way to then load it in is to dump the text into a ".asc" file and CLOAD that. ..ciaran Ok. Just to make sure I got it right, did you actually mean: 1/ start the emulator as "XRoar...

"Graal Quest" (... a reverse request!)

Hello all, Before getting my disk drive from a former Dragon32 owner (must have been back in 1986), I once got to see what he had, part of which has long been offered through the software archive. But I remember getting to see a French, disk-based, role-playing game named "Graal Quest". At the momen...

Re: XRoar 0.25 released

Thanks very much for your reply, Ciaran: it sure was a great help. And, yes, having some kind of on-screen information display about any "specific modes" being activated would definitely be helpful...

Kind regards,
Lionel

Re: Best Pac-man game for Dragon

Going through the list of games on my "Arcade" disks, I could spot a few names that are very likely to be more Pac-Man clones, though not necessarily that "brilliant": Cyclops Gobbler Mega-Bug Pac-Tac 2 Pacdroids Pattipak Yellow Gobblers ... but I'm afraid you'll need to try those to find out how go...
