Re: ENCODER09

Hello, I never used "Encoder 09" (my personal choice and favourite was "Alldream" first, then "Diskdream"). I do have a ".rom" version, though (... must be from the Archive here), that comes with a kind of a summary of commands (but without any actual manual, sorry). The summarised instructions I ha...

Re: Dragon Disco Lights

Hello Chris, Yes, that name does indeed ring a bell. Unfortunately, I've gone throuh the table of contents today for all (online) issues from 1983 to 1987, but could not find any such thing. Yet I know there once was such a utility provided in DU. Or my memory is telling me so. I never typed it in m...

Re: 6809 8-bit Division

I just checked my old "Zaks/Labiaks" and, as I remembered, it does include some routines for 8/8 and 16/16 bit divisions. The former is a bit longer than what has already been proposed here since it uses ASLB/ROLA instructions, but I'm not sure about the actual speed of the code vs looped SUBs. If y...

Re: Pirate Adventure - Scott Adams

Just in case you should find the Dragon interface tedious to cope with, you may still consider playing these games on your computer (or online, etc... ) : They are all available for download from Scott Adams' web site (several formats available, including online playing).

Re: I need any Dragon text books

Hello,

I'm sorry about not reacting sooner. I just had not yet seen this last post & request of yours.
A ".pdf" copy of this book is now being mailed to you. Since the file is nearly 13 MB in size, I will split it in case my first attempt should fail.

Kind regards,
Lionel

Re: Pirate Adventure - Scott Adams

Just in case you should want more, the full set of "Scott Adams" adventures for the Dragon is available as a couple of ".vdk" files (... should be somewhere in the downloads section). These are "ADVEN03A" and "ADVEN03B" and contain the following: ADVEN03A: Adentureland, Pirate Adventure, Secret Miss...

Re: Pac-Tac by Computerware

... Thank you!

And just in case you should ever feel like comparing, you'll even find a "Pac-Tac 2" game on my "ARCAD05A.vdk" file. Based on the title screen and publisher, it looks like a later version of the same game.

Tennis tactique by Goal Computer (Bernard Andrau)

... And here's the second game sampled by Simon in 2003. That one is a PMODE4 tennis game. Based on the in-game board display, it seems to be the perfect game to play at this time of the year since it's obviously supposed to feature the renowned "Roland-Garros" tournament! The game was created in Fr...

The Valley by ASP Software

Hello all, Tonight, while browsing through the Archive, I was surprised to find out that a couple of games seemed to be missing. Simon had sampled them from my own original tapes, back in 2003. The first one is a text RPG/adventure game written in Basic: "The Valley" (from ASP Software). I remember ...
