Re: Katerpillar Attack Cartridge for the Tandy CoCo
By the way, is there any way to upload pictures to be seen in the message without having to scroll that much? That is something I would like to know too! But I fear, the only way is to reduce the pictures' resolution. The notation of the web page (i.e. "pict.jpg|200px") doesn't work here. Funny, ol...

Re: modified Tandy rom images (7)
Thanks, Rink!
I hope you've reprogrammed the roms on your multi-cart in the meantime. Now there are better games, than those I initially put on yours

Re: I/O Cartridge (Show and Tell)
Oh I see, ISA boards are hard to find these days and extremely expensive.
But how about that: It's just 2.25€ (UP 720HP, Streifenrasterplatine, Hartpapier, 160x100mm) at http://www.reichelt.de

Re: Katerpillar Attack Cartridge for the Tandy CoCo
Hi Pere, and there are a few programs that use or need just the upper bank, but no different rom, like the above mentioned "DupliDisk" or the one I've just been working on: "Arkanoid". Or "Soko-Ban" and probably some more. What is the serial number of your D32? When did they solder in sockets? Mine ...

Re: I/O Cartridge (Show and Tell)
Hi,
there used to be experimental ISA-boards for IBM-PC-compatibles, like that one on the photo: I abused it with a saw, as you can see. It was full size, quite huge. Maybe you can still get those in some electronics shops or ebay? Is that, what you're looking for?

Re: Katerpillar Attack Cartridge for the Tandy CoCo
The Dragon 32 is fitted with two 24-pin 4764 type (Texas Instruments TMS4764-35NL) ROM chips or equivalent. IIRC, a suitable EPROM replacement would be the Motorola MCM68764 or MCM68766. And of course on my board, both are soldered in  . Sockets must always have been very expensive... I've al...

Dragon multi-cartridge modified for 16k-roms
In the meantime I modified one my multi-cartridges for the use of 16k roms. This is quite easy to do. I marked the changes with red ovals on the photos below: multicart16ktop.jpg multicart16kbottom.jpg One cartridge now can hold up to sixteen 16k-roms, using four 27C512 eproms. There are not many 16...

Yeah, my headers really are crappy, too. I'll change them again. At the moment I have no good solution on my mind...
