Re: Anyone have a Dragon MS-Basic Recursive Backtracker program for creating a maze?

I have converted a c64 program (not a poke or peek in sight)
Thanks
I'll post a vdk in case anyone is interested.

Anyone have a Dragon MS-Basic Recursive Backtracker program for creating a maze?

I attempted to convert a BBC Basic prog, but got a little difficult with buffer IFGETs. Thought I'd ask before I go off to pen my own version.

Thanks

Re: Happy Bunny - Replacement power supply

Stew

That's good advice. Just about to order some fast blow 3A fuses for another project and the thought never occurred to me, I might go for fuse holders as well and they can live in the dragon.
Brilliant

Thanks

Re: Did the PI-6809 exist?

I inherited at original IBM PC (with an 8088 8-bit processor and it would boot into BASIC with a boot floppy, even had a cassette port) in the early 90's. As a Dragon Owner I was shocked to see an ISA card in one of the slots that had a 6809 processor on board, but never worked out what it did, best...

Happy Bunny - Replacement power supply

Big smiles from me this morning :D . A couple of weeks ago my power supply gave up the ghost. Off to make a cup of coffee, come back to a blank tv screen and a very bad smell. PANIC sets in, switch everything off. I feel the power adapter and it's super hot. My first thought is despair, then anxiety...

Re: SKIRRAX 4

Pere Would be nice to know what happened to Skirrax 4, I'm assuming it was a work in progress. I made the vdk from a physical disk, but not sure if I created that from a vdk years back or its an original. I thought it might be a coco game as it is setup for "attributes" - detuned NTSC TV. I tried to...

Re: SKIRRAX 4

Hello Can you remember the DU issue?, I can only find Phil Brooks program in 5/85, which uses the WRITE command for text placement. Hi-TEXT is a 64 by 21 display, the Hi-res program on the hires-stuff disk is 64 by 32, although they both use the print@x,y command. Is hires program written by Mathew ...

Re: HiText disk image as requested

Hi Good question, I've only just got the kit up and running again to allow an image of a real drive. I was messing around with Vcopy(DOS) and cocoreader(Windows). I think VCOPY reported errors, although it copied the files across. So to be on the safe side I may have moved them to another blank VDK....

SKIRRAX 4

Just looking through some old 5 1/4 in disks, found this one (attached), various stuff - interestingly has some sound samples from Wayne Smithson. Also the start of a game called Skirrax 4, by Wayne Smithson. Can't find it in archiive or on the interweb. It works but nothing much happens, check it o...
