Yes, would someone give me a stack of cash so I can give up trying to earn money and just make games in green, blue, red and yellow for the rest of my life? :D

Re: Vintage Computer Festival @ Bletchley Park - 19th & 20th Jun

BTW I *may* be able to get Glove to load completely from the MultiCart if the machine that it is running on has 64K of memory. Doesn't need to be a Dragon 64, an upgraded 32 would be ok too. Look at the Tandy DSK file version to see how it preloads the levels before the game has started. There's a ...

Re: Time to move on

Oh man, sorry to hear this. :( I myself haven't been able to do any 6809 for a while now, due to the need to look at money-making activities instead.

I hope you can find some time in your life for a little bit of Dragonning and that someone can take over.

Re: Little demo, messing around

Nice! I can't think of any sensible multiply improvements, so here are some silly suggestions: 1. Rotate 2 asteroids on one frame and the other 2 on the next frame. 2. Precalculate the points for 1/4 of the rotation and then jiggle the x and y to make the full set. 12 points * 2 bytes * 64 angles? =...

Re: Dragon replacement power supply

FYI, I did find a 28V ac adaptor, it used to power a ZX81 printer (Alphacom 32) but not brave enough to create the 8.5V. Be careful, make sure you get the polarity right way round! I managed to break my original Tandy CoCo 2 16K by using an Alphacom 32 power supply. The big blue capacitor on the ce...

Glove cassettes now on sale.

It has come to my attention that some people were unaware of this... Glove can now be purchased on a real cassette (with inlay and everything!). Go to Cronosoft to see this lovely item, with some great inlay artwork. And... if anyone knows the whereabouts of Mervyn J. Estcourt, then I might be able ...

Does the Dragon support the "extended" VDP?

The CoCo2 (some models) has a later revision of the VDP which supports a few extra text mode trinkets, I was wondering if the Dragon models supported this as well? Extended CoCo VDP. $FF22 $80 = Select graphics mode (as usual). $40 = Extend background colour as border. $20 = Reverse text. $10 = Lowe...

Re: Wanted Quickshot 1 or 2 for Dragon/Co-co

Anyone help me out with getting a digital joystick, either quickshots would be cool. I really can't get on with the floppy Dragon analogue ones :( Do Tandy joysticks work with the Dragon? I think they do... If so, there are a number of options, but not always easy to find... Wico Command Control Ad...

No, it was out in the US, Canada and Australia (maybe NZ?) I don't think it was out anywhere else.

Being released in Australia does mean that there are PAL versions that can be picked up... Sadly, I don't have one.
