I had the SD card already prepared with 720kb images, should I just format the sd card without the emulator program?

Re: Cheap chinese floppy emulators & Lafumat's disk controll
Try formatting with a 1.44M image. The emulator is 1.44 capable, right?

Re: Cheap chinese floppy emulators & Lafumat's disk controll
SWRITE 0,0,1,A$,B$ gives you a ?RF error? Odd. The 720K model also has 512 byte sectors and that works. The first 256 bytes have what I intended, and the last 256 have garbage. Can read it back too. Hi! Managed to find my emulator and some time to test it. The results are not good, though. It seems ...

Re: Cheap chinese floppy emulators & Lafumat's disk controll
Aha. Yes, that can be useful. I'm going to abuse your goodwill now. ;) First of all, the emulator has to be set as Drive 0. From the looks of it (my emulator's PCB is very different), I strongly suspect you only need to move that jumper from J2-S1 to J1-S0. Then connect it to the Lafumat board with ...

Cheap chinese floppy emulators & Lafumat's disk controller
So... I bought one of those... http://www.ebay.com/itm/230910971956 ...with the intent of using it with my many vintage computers. Hey, it costs a fraction of the (admittedly kickass) Lotharek alternative. The first guinea pig was the MSX, and it worked perfectly, after some judicious jumper selecti...

Re: HDB-DOS
Thanks Ciaran, and Ken for the information. This Mercurial thing is absolute garbage!!! It would be far better if they just put all the files in a tarball or compressed archive so they can be download in seconds directly from any web browser. This Mercurial junk is totally unnecessary. Welllll... V...

Re: HDB-DOS
Is it possible to download all of the source code files in one .zip (or other) archive? Attached is the latest HDBDOS 1.4 source folder from the toolshed repository as well as the cocoroms source folder which included the ecb_equates which are required to make hdbdos. Ken I fixed the makefile (late...

The back get most exposed to crash with the desk, wall and other things. The ideal place for a switch is on the side after the slot cart, as Zephir made on his mod, because it's get protected from colisions by the protuberant side. Of course! Done. I also had to cut up the Styrofoam in the box so t...

Re: DriveWire
Its working perfectly now, but I had to use a USB to Serial adapter. The next stage is to burn some EPROMs to make a DW cartridge. 8-) Ken, Thanks for taking the time to help me with this. :) Good to know that! I will try to grab one of those to see if it works with my Color64! I also was using con...
