Re: DriveWire

Its working perfectly now, but I had to use a USB to Serial adapter. The next stage is to burn some EPROMs to make a DW cartridge. 8-) Ken, Thanks for taking the time to help me with this. :) Good to know that! I will try to grab one of those to see if it works with my Color64! I also was using con...

Re: DragonCoCo v1.0

All of the Dragon cartridge cases that I have seen take up the full width, and almost the full height of the cartridge port. Its difficult to be 100% sure, but I would say from looking at the video footage that the switch would be in the way of any original DragonDOS controller or game cartridge. D...

Re: DragonCoCo v1.0

Yes. It looks like you will need to move the switch. Even in that position ? Do you have pics of a cart big enough that will reach that place ? :o Cool! Now that you have a Dragon with dual roms you should go for the Dragon Drivewire project http://archive.worldofdragon.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5...

Re: CaChars

Finally incorporated your changes. I have the most sincere illusion that the most recent version of the code should be compatible with all CoCos AND Dragons. I'm downloading the tools necesssary to create Dragon disk images as I type. Hey, please do a WAV file for me to test on the Color64. ...

Re: Tano Dragon with saturated colors

The only schematics available are for the UK Dragon 64. They can be downloaded from http://www.dragondata.co.uk/ Thanks! Looking the schematics I noticed that the British Dragon 64 is pretty diferent from the Tano on the video output. I will tap on the color signal lines that go to the LM1889 modul...

Re: Tano Dragon with saturated colors

It's still NTSC, just baseband - before modulation onto an RF carrier. It's at this point artifacting happens, as it's such a simple relationship between the "dot clock" and the NTSC colour carrier frequency. But I've no real idea about the saturated colours - amplitude of colour signal too high in...
