Re: DragonCoCo
Ahh excellent,I knew it had permission to be distributed now, didn't realise it had been open sourced, might take a look at that then. Please do! Having a think I may be able to reduce the converter to a MAX202 and a transistor (as an inverter), will have a play. Couldn't the inverter be implemente...

Re: DragonCoCo
The source for HDB-DOS is now part of the toolshed mercurial repository. http://toolshed.hg.sourceforge.net/hgweb/toolshed/toolshed/file/33cf1caaeb27/hdbdos/hdbdos.asm Does the source for HDB dos exist ? that might be possible, though what I'd possibly be more interested in is dropping the bit bange...

Re: DragonCoCo
Wow, great accomplishment! Can't wait to see the details and give it a try. Bringing the Drivewire platform to the Dragon opens so many possibilities - flexible storage, virtual printing , MIDI and even telnet. Phill, since you have previously ported SuperDos to the CoCo, do you think you can do the...

Re: DragonCoCo
Running drivewire is probably the easiest way of testing the bitbanger port. Drivewire dos doesn't have to be loaded from ROM. There are versions for loading from cassette and disk as well. Here's the download link http://www.frontiernet.net/~mmarlette/Cloud-9/Software/drivewire.zip The most interes...

Re: DragonCoCo
Great news!
How fast can the Dragon run the bitbanger port? Is there any reason why it won't reach 57.6K like the Coco2?
Also could you post here the modified Coco roms?

Re: Dragon OS-9 question
The easiest way to manipulate OS9 disks from a PC is using wimgtool (part of the extended MESS package). Previous versions had an OS9 sub-directory bug, which prevented adding files in sub-directories but this has been fixed since version 0.140. I've attached to this post the wimgtool windows execut...

Re: Floppy Controller
Unfortunately dragondos cartridges have become quite hard to find. The best long term solution would probably be the DragonMMC controller that is being developed by Phill (prime). You can see a video of his prototype in this post: http://archive.worldofdragon.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=549&p=290...

Re: Modern storage option...
If a modern storage option for the Dragon where being developed say SD/MMC based, what would people want it to support ? Ideas so far : Loading / saving of .cas files from the card ? Loading / saving of Cartrige files from the card ? Native loading / saving / file access ? Dos emulation ? Any other...

Re: Dragon ROMS and other noob questions
Hi guys, I was browsing lots of Dragon literature during the last days but I (Dragon noob) still have some questions: 7) Are there infos available about the people (engineers) who actually designed the Dragon computers? Who designed the case? Dragonizer http://archive.worldofdragon.org/index.php?ti...
