Re: Issues with the driveWire interface

Looking at the images you have uploaded, I see that the DIRectory of the DSK shows the data in TANDY format, I mean it tells the number of granules used by each file and at the end we see the free granules. This is not the same format as Dragon Data DOS use, so it is not clear to me if you would be ...

Re: Issues with the driveWire interface

Hello Yoruk, that's great news indeed! If that way you can access DSK files, there is a java utility that converts VDK files into DSK format by just removing the header, so they become multiple of 256! You could download it from this page: http://archive.worldofdragon.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=...

Re: IRQ issues

Hi Ciaran,
thanks a lot!
That makes me understand a bit better why using more than those 7980 cycles (70x57x2)
didn't produce any glitch on the screen (at 2x) ... that's very good news for me!
Plenty of room to change things while the screen is not shown :D
kind regards

Re: IRQ issues

Re: Issues with the driveWire interface

back here again ... I have been able to start NitrOS-9 from drivewire4 (via Becker Port) from a Dragon32 emulated machine by XRoar when using this ROM: hdbdw3dgbD32.rom At the same time I have put on slot 0 on the DW server this file: nos9v303_d64COVDG_becker.dsk (uploaded by KenH some time ago) The...

Re: Issues with the driveWire interface

And in my case I can't even make DWDOS working right. I am looking for the "long" wav version of the HDB-DOS (not the 8 seconds wav file) to try it. Any links ? HDB-DOS is a port of the CoCo version, and so it just works with DSK files that must be 160k instead of the 182k standard for the Dragon. ...

Re: Issues with the driveWire interface

I am sorry that you will not be able to test it ... just because it uses the RAM from $E000 till $FB00 and these doesn't exist in a D32 Your only chance is to contact Ed Snider (aka Zippster) and order a CoCo-SDC module, this will work flaslessly and you could forget about floppies and drivewire too...

Re: Issues with the driveWire interface

Should I load DWDos before DOS-Plus5.0 extended :?: Hi Yoruk, YES, you need the commnad DLOAD to be enabled, so if you have the standard BASIC then you need to load first the DWDos from tape Later copying the dweeb DP50XINS in the root of the drivewire server you could do DLOAD"DP50XINS" or exec th...

Re: Issues with the driveWire interface

Unfortunately the DOSPlus5.0 extended VDK I have uploaded on that thread is only of use for people that has 'real' floppy disks and can copy the VDK into a 'real' floppy. If not, the only chance is to use the dweeb called DP50XINS without extension You will need the DW loader to do: DLOAD"DP50XINS" ...
