Re: A DOSPlus Extender for Drivewire & CoCo-SDC

Hi Tom, I thought you had used or knew about the CoCo version of that software. I attach here the two docs I created to explain the added commands for the DOSPlus5.0 and the new commands for the SDC SDRIVEn"FileName" is a general for: SDRIVE1,"GAMES/GAME01.VDK" or SDRIVE2,"APPS/APP01.VDK" If you don...

Re: A DOSPlus Extender for Drivewire & CoCo-SDC

Hi, My 32 shows the normal DOSPlus message at the startup, but with SDIR i only receive some weird orange lines with the size of the programs i put on the mmc (vdk files ready for the Dragon). What kind of VDK shows this result? Maybe you could upload here one of these VDKs so that we could verify ...

Re: IRQ issues

25 lines are inserted when vertical blanking starts, and another 25 appear 23 scanlines after the active area. On the '64, it delays the HS rising edge as seen by the PIA by 25 lines Yes if you have the IRQ triggering on FS falling edge; that happens just after the active area, so you do indeed the...

Re: Issues with the driveWire interface

Thanks, I'll take a look at this. ;) I tried to load the basic programs. Got some "?NO" errors on some, but many others loads without problems. Unfortunately some of them can't run because of some CLEAR instructions inside the code. Maybe it's a memory conflict... But the loading was fine. Any idea...

Re: Issues with the driveWire interface

I don't remember exactly but it was ment to be something like: Drive Wire Extended Executable Binaries ... Tormod Volden could tell us the exact meaning! These are programs written in assembler that read and write from/to the DW server using the DWRead and DWWrite std routines In fact you could do a...

Re: Issues with the driveWire interface

when we first begun to work with drivewire, we had to ceate small machine code programs to perform every command we needed. It all worked around Tormod's DWLOAD program that connects to a drivewire server and acts as the intermediate step between Dragon-DWserver Using this tool, I created some dweeb...

Re: Issues with the driveWire interface

The best is to write it in a windows text document saving it as FILENAME.BAS and then load it into XROAR with CTRL+L and then CLOAD. This will put the Basic program in the Dragon without problems From inside XRoar you could save it into a WAV casette file and playing that wav with Audacity (for inst...

Re: Issues with the driveWire interface

No, in the Tandy world it is not needed because each one is intended for a file type. In fact after LOADM only EXEC makes sense, and after LOAD only RUN is meaningful. I am afraid that the only DSK files that would be read by the 'special' ported HDB-DOS *must* be Tandy-like formatted, so all of the...
