Re: A DOSPlus Extender for Drivewire & CoCo-SDC
OK, that seems ok if the DP50 sits on bank number 5 (4+1), I will assume that's right Here is the CoCo-SDC manual, you will read the kind of accepted cards ... I understand you didn't buy it from Ed Snider, in this case, maybe the seller could help telling us how he used the SDC board with his Drago...

Re: A DOSPlus Extender for Drivewire & CoCo-SDC
That screenshot shows that the DOSPlus5.0 extended receives 'bad' data to its requests to the SDC firmware (microcontroller) First of all, we must ensure that the CoCo-SDC is hardware configured to work with the Dragon. You should look at the 4 DIP-switches and verify they are ok. The one called DRG...

SDRIVE

2: -- NO DISC --
it seems there are problems reading that card.
If you enter
SDIR at that point , what does it show?
It shoud return the card contents ... (not the disk contents)

Re: A DOSPlus Extender for Drivewire & CoCo-SDC
Hi, let's go step by step. If the card inside the CoCo-SDC has a file in the root with the name "UPDATE.VDK" and you STARTUP.CFG file contains these lines: 0=UPDATE.VDK 1=OFF On startup, it should be mounted, so issuing this command SDRIVE and Intro should show 1:ON UPDATE.VDK nnnnn (the VDK length)...

Re: A DOSPlus Extender for Drivewire & CoCo-SDC
Hi Roberto, I have never thought about that point. Version 0.25.04 is *one* year old and Ed Snider (aka Zipster) installs it for free in any CoCo-SDC he sells to Dragon users. No problems have ever arised. There are lots of users that use compiled collections (by Chris Poacher) on the Facebook group...
