Re: DragonMMC Update.

So is it making direct calls to the ROM? or calling through the indirect table at the beginning? If the former, then it's probably going to fall over even with the updated firmware. Yes, it is making calls to internall DOS subroutines, some of them being patched in RAM to avoid that any error ends ...

Re: DragonMMC Update.

As for The Hobbit, how tied is it to Dragondos, i.e. could it just use files directly on the DaronMMC card?Phill. Hi Phill, in fact the Hobbit calls the some DOS functions, so it is heavily tied to the DOS If I remember correct, it supports DDos1.x (Dragon Data), DDOS4.x (Eurohard) and DosPlus (S3)...

Re: DragonMMC Update.

Might not be useful - and is only a workaround anyway - but I seem to remember with SuperDOS, periodic use of the CLOSE command ensured things were flushed to disk. It also helped avoid spurious "?NE ERROR"s. You are right, Ciaran! In fact I issue a CLOSE every time I do a SAVE, even when I do a CS...

Re: DragonMMC Update.

Hi Roberto Carlos, I have been searching among the Shark/Tiburón files, but the same problem. As they have a lot of screens, the disks are 360K for these games, sorry :-( By the way, Phill When I got my MMC, I did a lot of tests and then I began to use it to load/save files to virtual VDK files (180...

Re: CoCo-Flash can work on a Dragon/Tano

Hello, The flash memory in this module is maped to $c000-$feff (16k-256 bytes) so it can contain any Dragon-CoCo2 ROM we have. Moving that 'visible' window along the FLASH contents we can store/read bigger programs (BIN or BAS files) You will find info about that module here: http://www.go4retro.com...

Re: Keyboard Question....

Hi, so, you are having problems with the keys that are connected to bits PB6 and PB7 of PIA0 ($ff02) The first try should be opening the Dragon case and re-seating the keyboard connector on the mainboard, for maybe it could have changed position and so these two contacts are failing ... If this does...

REACTOID on emulators

Hello, I am testing Dragon and Tandy ROMs to verify that they can be used on the Dragon. I have tested quite a lot (about 90), both originals and others converted by rolo to the Dragon. A few had keyboard problems that I think I have solved, for example: Sokoban, Silpheed, Fraction Fever and Color S...
