INFOCOM series on CoCo-VGA for DRAGON64

Hi, I have isolated this message from the previous announcement of the port of the 25 adventures games from INFOCOM, because this one implies the use of an extra module attached to our Dragon (this one lies inside the case!), its name is CoCo-VGA and you can learn a lot about it here: http://www.coc...

INFOCOM adventure series for the DRAGON64

Hello, I have just ported the Infocom adventure series for the CoCo to the Dragon64 (25 games) They will not work on machines with only 32K because the games switch to MAP1 (all RAM) Basically these adventures are started with the DOS command (our BOOT equivalent) CoCo DOS loads track 34 to RAM $260...

SPACE RACE

hello, This was the first or maybe the second cartridge I had back in the 80's and despite the game has not great graphics I wanted to have it again in this format. Unfortunately I have been able to find only a .wav version that works, the .cas version fails. I have unassembled it and then worked to...

Re: they said NEVER GONNA HAPPEN

hehe, you never accept a NO as an answer! That's good! I have seen/listened to that video. Sounds really great. It reminds me of an earlier work that allowed playing music while loading a game from tape ... Another thing that no one had tried back in the day. Congratulations for this amazing demo, S...

Re: Dragon Doftware Nº14 (G.T.S. Editores)

@Roberto Carlos, I have tried out the individual programs from this tape and have found problems with the one named EDIT (side A) It seems that it needs a CLOADM but then an I/O ERROR occurs :-( Maybe you could give it a peek with your 'wav' tools to try to 'recover' the faulty block(s) ... When I h...

Re: Dragon Doftware Nº14 (G.T.S. Editores)

Hi Ciaran,
Thanks for this advice!
I have used XRoar to convert a huge amount of score cas files for Orchestra to wav files using XRoar,
I thought that the other way round worked *only* for WAVes that had just one bunch of data
I will try this trick immediately

cheers

Dragon Doftware Nº14 (G.T.S. Editores)

Hello, I got this tape, that seems to be the only one that has no software attached. I have recorded both sides on Audacity. These are the files for each program ... in WAV format Most of them are multi part, usually a Basic program is first loaded, this one loads an intro screen and them some files...

Re: DragonMMC Update.

The problem is that becase the DragonMMC dos is built from source** so locations of routines may change from once compliation to the next. I guess this is why DD put a jump table at the beggining of the ROM, you where supposed to access through that so you where not making direct calls to the ROM t...
