Hello John,
now things are even worse
I cannot reach that web any more. It returns a timeout error.
Is it possible that they have changed the potcasts page to another server?
Any help would be highly appreciated
Thanks in advance
have a nice weekend!

Re: The CoCo Crew Podcast
Hi John, thanks a lot. In fact I had this url instead (I don't remember where I got it from) http://marsdentheatrearchives.com/Marsden%20Theatre%20Archives/CoCo%20Crew%20Podcast/PDC%20Files The files in this url are downloadable and can be listened on the CoCo3 with the CoCocasterPlayer program ... ...

Re: The CoCo Crew Podcast
Hi John,
it seems that the very last episodes are not being converted to podcasts.
Is there any problem? The last one I have found is #49
Thanks in advance

Re: Roman Checkers doesn't work anymore!
well, finally I have had good luck on that subject. Looking at the cold reset code in the Basic ROM, I have found the place where it calls the interpreter and shows the OK prompt. So I have modified two bytes more in the Switcher so that now the basic calls the loaded ROM for free, you don't need to...

Re: Roman Checkers doesn't work anymore!
Hello, after some tries with the DosMate from Steve Evans/Stephen J Woolham I am just getting the error you had first found, even on XRoar! By now, I am unable to start the ROM in an automatic way from inside the 'copier' program. It seems that there are signs of the DOS as no restart has been done ...

Re: Roman Checkers doesn't work anymore!
Hi, I am pretty sure it is a problem related to the fact that the game doesn't like the DOS installed when it starts. The game has a routine that sets to zero all the RAM to be used for graphics from $400 on, so it is using the working area occupied by the DOS and its buffers. The only way to start ...

Re: Roman Checkers doesn't work anymore!
Hello, now I am surprised! The VDK I have prepared allows me to play the game without problems on my Tano. I start normally with my DosPlus5.0 extended an do MOUNT1,"ROMANCH" Then simply RUN"RUNROM" and once the machine is rebooted I issue EXEC&HC000 and the game works perfectly! The only diffferenc...

Re: Roman Checkers doesn't work anymore!
Hi, I have created an VDK with the ROMAN.ROM converted to BIN just adding a header to load it at $4000 and then I have prepared a small ml program that copies basic to MAP1 and then moves ROMAN up to $c000 leaving the machine in ALL RAM mode. The game works flawlessly here. This means that XRoar, pr...

Re: Roman Checkers doesn't work anymore!
Hello, as I have the multi-ROM cartridge v1.5 made and sold by Roland Schweiger (aka Rolo), I have installed it in my Tano and then selected bank 47 where he had put the modified version of "Roman Checkers". I just can say that it autostarts flawlessly and I can play with keyboard as well as with th...
