Re: xroar-snap-2019-49969
Hi Ciaran, no matter what I do there is no way to get it opening a window. And it doesn't minimize it ... It seems that this 'version' has been registered somewhere to be stopped, but I find no messages in the system log. Even executing it as administrator fails too. I hope that next snapshot, that ...

Re: xroar-snap-2019-49969
Pere, I've tried both 32 and 64 bit versions of xroar-snap-2019-49969 on Win 10 and they both work. I did notice, however, that the personal firewall asked for permission for XRoar to access dwmapi.dll and WerFault.exe, perhaps your firewall is blocking this access (since I have never tried other v...

Re: xroar-snap-2019-49969
Hi Ciaran,
the Console window does not open.
I added a pause command in the .bat file so that it doesn't close automatically, but nothing happens.
The same .bat file used on the last XRoar version works well and opens the Console window too.
cheers

xroar-snap-2019-49969
Hi Ciaran,
I cannot understand what I am doing wrong, but none of these versions (32 and 64 bits)
starts on my computer with Windows 10.
AVG verifies the executables, says there is no problem, but the programs do not open any window ...
Should I do anything special?
Thanks in advance

Re: Games for 6309 equipped Dragons
to all gamers ...
If you have a Dragon with the std ROM (not modified), then you should better download
the v1.1 of the game BUGS-II because the old version will fail too![Sad :-(](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)

Re: Games for 6309 equipped Dragons
this is just to confirm that using a std Dragon 64 ROM for Basic,
the message ?FC ERROR appears after a trick doing a PCLEAR0 is executed and calling PCLEAR1 immediately.
And of course, using the PCLEAR0 that I used in BUGS-II fails with them too!
regards

Re: Games for 6309 equipped Dragons
just out of curiosity, Once I run the basic program with your peek/pokes, I get the correct free memory (29406), but then if I issue PCLEAR1 if gives ?FC ERROR This, again, only happens on a Tano computer. I asume that the Basic ROMs that I am using for the Dragon64 have been modified many time ago ...

Re: Games for 6309 equipped Dragons
Interesting you have any machine where that does work... Here's my take on PCLEAR0, btw: POKE&HB7,PEEK(&HB7)-6:POKE&HBC,PEEK(&HBC)-6:PCLEAR1:POKE&HB7,PEEK(&HB7)+6:POKE&HBC,PEEK(&HBC)+6 Hi, Ciaran, thanks for that one. Yet another way to issue the forbidden PCLEAR0 ;-) The shorter form I have using ...

Re: Games for 6309 equipped Dragons
Hello, Henry Rietveld has found out that the basic loader fails on a real Tano computer. Everything is OK for the Dragons, but some differences in the Basic Interpreter make it raise this message ?FC ERROR IN LINE 110 I am attaching here a v1.1 of the disk containing the 'old' system to issue a PCLE...

Re: Games for 6309 equipped Dragons
Hello, I have just converted another game from CoCo. I got it from L.Curtis Boyle who corrected a flaw that made it crash when played on a machine with a HD6309 This game was never published for the Tano/Dragon computers ... - Bugs-II (1984)(Four Star Software) The game plays without problems on our...
