Re: Using the Wordpak2+ on the Dragon

Besides the text drivers for Basic and DOS, I have been testing the graphic modes G4,G6 and G7 These are 256x192@16, 512x192@16 and 256x192@256colours. The vertical 192 can be set to 212 at will. My first atempt has been trying to blend together two images with different colours, so that we could se...

Using the Wordpak2+ and the CoCo-PSG on the Dragon

Hello, I have prepared two drivers to work in mode Text1 (40 columns) and in Text2 (80 columns) Both intercept some system hooks in order to 'adapt' the CharOut, Cls and Print@ to the new width Because of the changed hooks, you should remember to uninstall the driver or system will hang or go wild! ...

Re: A next-generation Dragon?

Great idea! I really like the internal cartridge slot idea!
This would allow us to have the MOOH module (512k RAM expansion) inside, leaving the cartridge connector free for other purposes
have a nice weekend

Re: A next-generation Dragon?

Hello, I think we should add to this list a few extra modules - The WordPak2+ (by Luis Antoniosi) that offers a V9958 graphic chip as the MSX2+ with some 128k VRAM this would be a great graphic improvement but not easily backwards compatible And for people that likes to use more than one cartridge a...

Re: xroar-snap-2019-49969

Right! Sorry for not replying to this sooner... Looks like some interaction with the "-type" command needs some thought. The config file reading changes mean you can use double or single quotes and escape characters with backslash. At the moment the "-type" command also interprets some of those cha...

Re: xroar-snap-2019-49969

@Ciaran Hi, I kind of solved it that way: -type RUN\"KING.BIN\n\" instead of using the old way I was used to: -type RUN"KING.BIN\n" So, no problems again. Thanks alot pere In fact, while modifying the bats that call some games in my setup, I have found that the ending double quote is not needed ind...

Re: xroar-snap-2019-49969

Latest snapshot works around this by picking the first UI if specified one doesn't exist (any more). Hello Ciaran, now I can leave that -ui windows32 But with this last snapshot the bat files that load a virtual disk and then use the syntax: -RUN"FILENAME.BIN" fail showing in the emulated Dragon wi...

Hi Ciaran,
a bit late, but I saw it ... and after downloading and testing I confirm it works flawlessly even with the old
-ui windows32
in the config file
Thanks a lot

Re: Autoboot for floppydisk

Hello, if you want a disk to autoboot, that is autostart a program, then you need to use a DOS that offers this feature else you will need to issue the command BOOT instead. Right now I just remember the Eurohard DOS4.1 having that feature Next step will be saving the program you want to be autostar...
