Re: XRoar 0.36 released
don't worry about that, Ciaran. Seeing A, B, E F is good enogh as I am sure they are updated when the program loads the 16 bit registers. Anyway I will verify that point ... I am sorry I have not been able (no free time :-( ) to make a longer test. I hope I will later tonight I will download your la...

Re: XRoar 0.36 released
Hello Ciaran, now it works. If I enter set $e=0x43 and then set $f=0x21, both registers are updated on screen, great! But if I do enter set $w=0x9876 then nothing changes on screen, so it seems that the EF pair is interpreted *only* as individual registers, but not as a double register, as AB is con...

Re: XRoar 0.36 released
I've had a look and this turns out to be a fault in my GDB patch - none of the 6309 registers were flagged as 8-bit, so the results were misaligned. Now, can I remember how to build the Windows binaries of GDB? :) Edit: and the answer is "maybe". ISTR the way the binary is built affected how well i...

Re: XRoar 0.36 released
Hello Ciaran, I have downloaded the file "m6809-gdb.exe" from "index of /temp/xroar", and the last XRoar snapshot (110), I hope this is all I'd need I will test it this afternoon. I need to make a long trace/debug session on my music engine conversion from MSX-AGD code. I will let you know how it go...

Re: XRoar 0.36 released
Hi Ciaran, I am really very busy with my V9958 project, but have installed you last version and keep using it with GDB to debug and I have not find any issues by now. I can execute games / rom files from command line using bat files as I had been doing before. If it were possible, I would really app...

Re: Using the Wordpak2+ and the CoCo-PSG on the Dragon
Hello, time to talk about the latest news about the AGD engine conversion for the CoCo/Dragon with V9958 and YM2149 chips This is just another (bad played) video to show the new part of the AGD engine that I have just converted. It is the part that deals with the effects/sounds instead of the 'old' ...

Re: Using the Wordpak2+ on the Dragon
That is just awesome! Both on the technical side and on the walkthrough. Thanks a lot for the great work! Thanks for your kind words, Robert In fact this has been a very exciting way to learn about that nice and unknown to me video chip. But the AGD engine is not yet fully converted, there are thre...

Re: More Oojamaflips ready
Hello John,
you pack with the oojamaflip has just arrived safely, thanks a lot!
Not in a hurry to build it immediately, because I am using
mini-MPI from Ed Snider or a standard Tandy multi-Pack when
I do need more than two cartridges ...
cheers
