Re: Drivewire4 server problems
for maybe any other user suffers that very same problem in the future ... I have tried four different Java versions, no changes at all. Then I have updated the serial to USB driver but no luck! The solution has been 'downgrading' to Java jdk-8u111 Now I can work with my Netbeans and drivewire server...

Drivewire4 server problems
Hello, I have had a laptop crash. The hard disk has blown and doesn't work anymore. I have put another disk in its place and restored data and applications from an old backup But Windows has been installed from scratch, also Java and Netbeans. I can program and execute Netbeans old applications with...

Re: Dragon DLs Quick start - VDK images on uDW
Hello, Matt
right, I own one of these too and it is a great add-on!
If, at an point, you go back to uDW and found any issues, just let me know, I have my uDW on the shelves
but I could set it on again to test anything you'd need!
cheers!

Re: new Member Spain
Hello Alfredo what I wanted to say was that your RGB module will be a nice companion to John's module, but I was not talking about unifying projects ... Anybody that would buy John's new module would decide if an RGB could be worth for her/his purposes. John has provided circuitry that accepts the R...

Re: new Member Spain
Hi Alfredo, you are right, not all of the Dragons have the MC6847 socketed, none of mine do have it. But my Tano from USA has it! I know that it is a dangerous/risky work to cut the pins of the 6847, clean everything up and then put a socket, but this is mandatory for instance if you want to use the...

Re: new Member Spain
Hello Alfredo, In case you are going to run a small batch of these VGA modules for the Dragon, I would like to buy one. For what I have read/seen in this thread, I asume that the module should be placed in the MC6847 space, so it will be mandatory to take it out and put a socket there, right? The ou...

Re: Dragon DLs Quick start - VDK images on uDW
Hello, Matt the Java app I have uploaded in previous message is intended for 'files' that can be loaded using commands like DLOAD, DLOADN that I asume you can issue thanks to the the modified Basic ROM (from Tormod Volden) that has the 'adapted' DLOAD command. For the virtual disks in format VDK tha...

Re: Dragon DLs Quick start - VDK images on uDW
Hi, Matt welcome to this group! I hope this is going to be the 'normal' issue with drivewire and reading/mounting files Drivewire expects the files to be multiple of 256 bytes in length, so the VDK files have to be padded with zeros at the end to meet that pre-requisite. For maybe this is the case, ...

Re: A DOSPlus Extender for Drivewire & CoCo-SDC
Hi, Ciaran by now just having problems. Hope to find a way to sort them out ... I have the DOSPLus50E in slot 3 and Orchestra-90 in slot 0 and I can easily choose which to start with the last parameter -mpi-slot N That way I can start the DOS or the Orchestra, but still trying to remember the proced...

Re: A DOSPlus Extender for Drivewire & CoCo-SDC
already done the first test. DP50E starts after Basic and then waits for some seconds to end showing the correct messages I used Ctrl+1 to put disk in drive 1 and then DIR1 worked alright showing its contents ... Sorry for having bugged you that way :-( thanks a lot cheers! pere TestingRace-XRoar.jpg
