Re: pcmplay - new dragon sound routine

I thought I had to share an idea I had a few minutes ago. If anyone wants to give it a listen ... I loaded the BIN file into XRoar in a Dragon64 emulation and then entered POKE&hFFD9,0: EXEC&hF00: POKE&hFFD8,0 and Enter The result is that you lose the video, but there was nothing to look at and the ...

Re: pcmplay - new dragon sound routine

Hello, I don't know what did I do wrong the first time ... I have loaded TEST.BIN and then EXEC &HF00 and works flawlessly. The same applies to the VDK uploaded by sorchard, works with no problems. This is the procedure I use to put any binary file onto a VDK file: - Copy the .BIN file to a PC folde...

Re: pcmplay - new dragon sound routine

Just a question about this ...
Should the BIN file do anything when loaded into a Dragon 64 without DOS emulation in XRoar?
It loads but does nothing at all (?)
I must be doing something the wrong way, but I can't spot what.
Any advice?

thanks beforehand

Re: Dragon multi-cartridge is back! Version 1.6 for sale

Hi, I am sorry to say that I am too lazy/busy to get my set of eraser and burner and put them to work. I have never used them and they are on the shelves since more than one year! In fact I have never needed them, because owning a Dragon64 is enough to test any cartridge simply switching to MAP1 and...

Re: Dragon Facebook Group

Hi Tormod, despite I don't like Facebook too much, I used the link that John gave us and ... it works. In fact John approved my membership and since then I get a mail message for every 'move' in the group. It is really very interesting! Yes, there are quite a lot of messages, but among them there is...

Re: A DOSPlus Extender for Drivewire & CoCo-SDC

Hi Ciaran, You don't need a CoCo any more to flash a CoCo-SDC bank, You can use your Tano/Dragon with this extender instead! I added the command WRITE MEM @bank, source, destination, length that will flash a bank in the SDC using the memory from source to source + length and put it on destination. An ...

and this is the final part of the added SDC commands - SCHD”PathName” changes the Current Dir to the requested path as ‘SDIR=’ does - SCHD/ sets the root directory as Current Dir - SCHD.. sets the parent directory as Current Dir - SMKDIR”Foldername” creates a directory with the requested name in the...

Re: A DOSPlus Extender for Drivewire & CoCo-SDC

the added SDC commands This part has only been possible thanks to the invaluable help of Darren Atkinson. He has given me access to the CoCo-SDC communications protocol till the extent that now we can even flash banks with the Dragon, so we don’t need no more to use a CoCo to do that part! Besides, ...

Re: A DOSPlus Extender for Drivewire & CoCo-SDC

the DOSPlus add-ons I have chosen the DosPlus as the Disk Operating System to use in this project after having experienced some problems with the DDOS11C and DDOS12A. It seems that DosPlus is a bit more friendly to programmers! Right now 43 commands can be used with VDK files as if they were floppie...
